Dancing With the Stars: Charlie Sheen's ex may join show
That tidbit comes from RadarOnline.com, which says Brooke Mueller, the estranged wife of Charlie Sheen, is in talks to join the latest season of Dancing With the Stars, which begins March 21.
The report says that no formal offer has yet been made and that Brooke wants to ensure that doing the show won't affect her sobriety (I'm not sure how it would, really, unless she's partnered with Maks and he drives her to drink or something).
Anyhoo, you'll remember that Brooke and the delightful Mr. Sheen split last year after a brouhaha in Aspen in which Brooke said she had her life threatened and Charlie ended up charged with domestic assault.
If Brooke signs a DWTS deal, she won't be the first ex-Mrs. Sheen to do so. His second wife, Denise Richards, competed in Season 8.
Meanwhile, another bit of DWTS news I've been trying to find the time to blog involves Derek Hough, who is taking a break from the show this season to pursue a film career, with a role in an upcoming dance movie called Cobu 3D.
That's got to be a bit of a relief to Derek's fellow professionals on the show, doesn't it? Derek won the last two seasons with Nicole Scherzinger and Jennifer Grey, and also won Season 7 with Brooke Burke, making him the only pro to win three mirrorball trophies.
It's Maks' turn, don't you think?
