Kate will have plenty of shoes to fill
There's been so much attention on Kate Middleton's dress, we almost forgot that she can't walk down the aisle barefoot.
Guess that's why there are places like Footwear News, always looking to keep form and function for the feet. They invited several top designers to spend some time in Kate's shoes, so to speak, to come up the right shoe for that long walk in the Abbey. Here's what they came up with:

Each of the designers justified their designs with all the right phraes ('fresh and new", "classic and sophisticated", "sexy and precious", "a 2011 Audrey Hepburn", "history and feminity"). Of course, no one mentions comfort, but that's hardly surprising, right?
To get our feet planted firmly back on the ground, we had a look through the scrapbook to see how Middleton has dressed her feet. While there's an obvious leaning toward almost knee-high boots, for the most part her style might be described as "sensible."
