No Vogue cover for Kate

The celebrity press has been abuzz of late about whether Kate Middleton would soon be gracing the cover of Vogue Magazine. According to reports, the British born editor of the iconic fashion magazine Anna Wintour has been quiety lobbying for the cover, with little help from Mario Testino.
The fasion photographer shot the official William and Kate engagement shots, including the one above, so he would be a natural choice. (For the official royal wedding photographs, William and Kate chose Hugo Burnand, a favourite of Prince Charles.)
Alas, it appears the Vogue cover is a non-starter, at least for now. According to a report, Buckingham Palace has said that "[t]here are no plans for the Duchess to do anything with U.S. Vogue."
Kate has graced the cover of many magazines, as we know, but Vogue would never grace its cover with some run-of-the mill photo of the Dutchess on a meet-and-greet.
In the mean time, New York Fasion has created an image of what a Kate Middleton Vogue cover might look like, in case you can't wait.
