Pippa splits with longtime boyfriend

Pippa Middleton is back in dating circulation, according to the latest from London.
The Sun is reporting that the Duchess of Cambridge’s sister – dubbed Her Royal Hotness – has split with longtime boyfriend Alex Loudon after “a string of rows.”
Pippa apparently was distraught enough over the break-up to seek some comfort last weekend from Kate and William at Balmoral Castle.
There had been suggestions that Pippa and Loudon had split after the royal wedding, but the couple has since been seen together at several events and even photographed locking lips after a party last month. Reports last months even had Loudon shopping for an engagement ring.
Those times, apparently, were just lulls in the storm. The couple reportedly had a major blow-up while attending a wedding a few months ago.
“This time it's over,” a source told the Sun. “They are barely speaking."
Why the split? At first, it appeared Loudon might have been jealous of Pippa’s friendship with Prince Harry, but the more likely explanation would be the unceasing spotlight that has shone on Pippa since turning heads in her bridemaid’s dress at Kate’ wedding.
While Pippa hasn’t deliberately encouraged all the media attention, nor has she turned from it. Her celebrity status is entrenched now, and in turn that has taken banker Loudon out of his comfort zone.
No word on what kind of advice was being offered by Kate, who already has a full plate of drama in her life as the world awaits word of a royal pregnancy and she prepares for some empty-nest time with William heading to the Falklands for six weeks early in the new year.
The couple stepped out (right) on Thursday night at a charity dinner for the National Memorial Arboretum Appeal with 120 guests in St. James’s Palace. Far from looking in the family way, Kate took a Grecian turn with a bare-shouldered, satin chiffon Jenny Peckham gown (retail: $2,130).
