What is it about Toronto and the rising conflicts between cyclists and drivers?
Yesterday CityTV did a story and posted this video caught by kids on a school trip -- who were ironically exploring issues of public surveillance -- where a nasty confrontation between the two species, near Queen and Bay Sts., left the cyclist short one tooth.
The story got Boingboinged and is now causing a minor commotion on the blogosphere.
This, of course, is highly reminiscent of last year's Kensington Market throwdown between a littering motorist and an indignant bike courier, all of which was captured by an enterprising photog.
So are tensions rising? Do motorists and cyclists both need to hug it out? Perhaps a sit-down with Dr. Phil will do.
