Bart's blog, and more

Former Blue Jays assistant GM Bart Given is no longer with the team, but he's keeping his hand, or at least his typing hand, in baseball. The homegrown baseball insider is now a blogger, giving a former insider's view of things at www.insidethemajors.com.

In one of his latest posts, he makes the argument that top Jays prospect Travis Snider should start the season in AAA. Great reading for Jays fans.

For those who prefer their baseball and other sports on the small screen, here's a hilarious take on how much of an impact Alex Ovechkin and the rest of the NHL is making in the U.S.

Wow, now that's a different brand of blog! I thought I knew what the Rule 5 was all about but evidently I was wrong after reading all about it from an insider like Bart. Cool.
