"according to our good friends at Rogers who are airing this for its artistic value and not because it will promote their Buffalo Bills series"

That's BS! The show is from VH1 in the states and those shows are usually picked up by cable channels like MuchMoreMusic or Star, not mainstream broadcast channels.

The ONLY reason TO's show is on CityTV is because he's on the Bills this season and City is owned by Rogers. They will go to whatever lengths necessary to promote the games. I think this is even worse than that atrocious "kickoff special" they aired last year.

The McCown change makes alot of sense. That hour tends to have the better guests and there is no need for a hour long show at 6pm when on most days sports don't start until 7. Just do the previews in 5 min hits 3 times an hour during the 20/20 radio updates.

Wow. With Walter Chronkite now gone, it's great to see that Terrell is stepping in to provide hard-hitting news and opinion...on the world of T.O. 60 Minutes has been getting pretty fluffy recently, and this may do it in altogether. Hearing that Reggie Bush and Kim. K. are splitting up, I'm now sorry I haven't properly been following the spiritual journeys of the Kardashians. As for Terrell, one can't deny his explosive talents--he almost single-handedly destroyed NFL powerhouses San Fran., Philly and Dallas. It's just unfortunate that he was playing for those teams at the time. Too bad he can't do the same for Rogers--which has already done so much to propagate healthy role models for our youth (via goon cage-fighting, supermodel competitions, etc.).

Are there any ratings breakdowns for the Fan590 showing the ratings when McCown is hosting and when he is not? When's he not on the air I'm not listening because the fill-in hosts stink no matter who the co-host is especially Faulds.

Rogers Sportsnet is a terrible sports channel. They should call it the Blue Jays and hockey network. They don't know what the NBA is. Who is Bob McCown? Outside Toronto, he's nobody. Connected is a terrible show. Maybe those ratings have more to do with how terrible a job they do. Rogers Sportsnet is protected by the CRTC who force it into out cable package. Otherwise hardly anybody would watch them.

I agree with Phillip Shaw...Wholeheartedly!

Sportsnet completely abandoned basketball in the last couple years so a whole slew of a demographic has tuned out of that
connected show and the network itself! It's a miracle they even get advertising because the demographic that watches baseball is way older than what advertisers covet!

Phil...don't worry man...hoops is here to stay...and eventually some network will realize the purchasing power of the people who like basketball.

Good luck Connected! Don't think the moves will help your sagging ratings.

The Score is the only sports network that I watch as TSN and Sportsnet are nothing more than hockey highlight shows.

Don't get me wrong...Canada is hockey...and hockey will always be Canada...but there's room to support the young kids and people who like other sports such as soccer, basketball, cricket and other sports not typically "Canadian".

Wake up Sportsnet...Canada is a diverse nation now...it's not 1967!

Chris, what is your take on McCown's web site and how it will affect the Fan590 web site? From what I understand, Fadoo.ca is run by Bob and not Rogers.
