FAN 590 gets a new boss

The FAN 590 has kept it all in the family with its hiring of a new program director.

The new boss is Don Kollins, who was program director of Kitchener's 5780 News for the past five years. He replaces Nelson Millman, who moved to the television side last year to become head news man at Rogers Sportsnet.

The Kitchener station, like the FAN and Sportsnet, is owned by Rogers Communications.

Well, I think The Fan could definitely use some changes.

I used to listen all the time, but now I find I only listen to Prime Time, The Game Plan (when the hosts are actually there, which is rare) and Jays games.

Most of the day has gotten quite boring, in my opinion.

This guy has quite a job ahead of him... start with changes to that insufferable morning show and go from there. Good luck!
