If Indiana can do it, so can Axel Variety reports that it's all systems go for a fourth installment of Beverly Hills Cop with Eddie Murphy repeating his role and Brett Ratner directing. No writer is attached yet, but the biggest challenge will surely be to figure out how to get Murphy into a fat suit and women's clothes. Possible cross-over idea: Beverly Hills 90210 Cop, starring Tori Spelling as an old-maid, crime cartel leader. You can have that for free. Variety.

But more to the point, if SATC is "like porn for women" what does that make, you know, porn?

Acts announced for MMVAs The Muchmusic Video Awards is always a good party. I remember one year they had these delicious blue drinks that made me happy and ill at the same time. They should bring those back. But seeing as it's ostensibly about the music, here's the list of acts announced to perform: Rihanna, Girlicious, Flo Rida, Hedley, illScarlett, JabbaWockeeZ, Kardinall Official with Akon, Simple Plan and Sean Kingston. Woody wants to starve A couple of celeb sites are reporting that Woody Harrelson plans to go to a remote island and not eat for 40 days. He says "I know it's going to be really hard. But can you imagine it? Eating nothing for 40 days? Swimming and surfing every day in a remote place? Where does the mind go?" It goes right to McDonald's is where it goes. Oooh, or to ice cream. Kirk Cameron, who was the Miley Cyrus the 1980s, has a memoir/autobiography out called Still Growing and was on Good Morning America this morning talking about it. The title, of course, refers to his craptastic hit show Growing Pains. Clever. There's an excerpt here in which he cruelly points out how stupid and gullible co-star Tracey Gold was and talks about living large and listening to homosexual musicians before he saw the Jesus light. But in case you don't have it in you to take a look, check Cameron's brilliant description of his fans' reaction to his greatness: "I loved the double takes, the ear-piercing screams. Without fail, their spastic hands fluttered while their lips mouthed my name." Their "spastic hands?" Really?

Are you excited about Sex and the City? If you are, here's a compilation of snippets of early reviews of the movie, which officially premiered in some city last night, compiled by Entertainment Weekly so I didn't have to. Clickety-chick-flick. If you're not excited about Sex and The City, you may be interested in a look at He's Just Not That Into You instead. Click-clack. Although, if you're not into Sex and The City, you're probably not into He's Not That Into You either. How about something creepy-ish and dirty and weird? Such as Chuck Palahniuk's Choke? There's not a wedding dress in sight.

Donna Martin's triumphant return Tori Spelling is coming back to the revamped 90210 and she's so excited she can barely contain herself. “When they say you can’t go home again, its not true. I’m headed back to the zip code I know best and couldn’t be happier!” Persistence pays off. You know she didn't let her ginormous pregnancy get in the way of camping out on the lawns of the producers until they couldn't take the sight of her anymore. I'm not going to touch that, but I wonder when it is that Michael Lohan fits in, you know, grocery shopping, toenail clipping, laundry and other must-do things in between his calling up tabloids and sharing his unsolicited opinion.
