So, I'll see you in three weeks. In the meantime, try to go outside occasionally and get some fresh air and eat some popsicles. Like these lemurs. But, also much like these lemurs, be wary of the popsicles. Study the popsicles carefully from all angles and with great suspicion to make sure they aren't evil. Unless you're into evil popsicles. That should go a long way towards making up for her ex Ethan Hawke getting it on with the nanny. People.

George Clooney: voice of reason, peacemaker and over-all good guy While Jack Nicholson and Tom Hanks are sneering at each other over the SAG and AFTRA contract talks, Clooney writes a letter asking for reconciliation and togetherness and taking care of the less fortunate. "Unlike the NFL, in this guild, the quarterbacks protect the linemen. I've been very lucky in my career, which has put me in the place that I don't need a union to check on my residuals, or my pension, or to protect my 12-hour turnaround. Most disappointing news of the week The long-awaited box office smack-down between the former and current Mrs. Brat Pitts will not happen. Jennifer Aniston's indifference-inducing much-anticipated He's Just Not That Into You has been pushed to February aka Romantic Comedy Gulag. Angelina Jolie's Oscar-bait film, The Changeling remains at Oct. 24. This is really sad for Jennifer. She was hoping to still be with John Mayer by the time He's Just Not That Into This Irritating Title opens, but it's probably a stretch to imagine the relationship will last until around Valentine's Day. Valentine's Day! Of course. That seals it. It won't last. She's doomed. Us Weekly.

Wall-E wins So far this year, the cutey robotkins is the best reviewed movie, scoring 98 per cent on Rotten Tomatoes. 

Guy Ritchie is giving up the red bracelet It's reportedly not just the wife he's quitting. Mr. Madonna has also lost interest in Kabbalah. The British Sun reports he's through with the religion and that, “A few weeks ago he told her he doesn’t want anything else to do with it. It didn’t go down well.” And here is more divorce speculation.

This just in: Wonder twinsies remain in womb In Touch has a picture which could either be a heavily pregnant Angelina Jolie wearing a black dress or some sort of unidentifiable pixilated blob in the courtyard of a French castle. It's brand-new though.

It's Tom Hanks and Kevin Spacey vs. Jack Nicholson and Ben Stiller As an actors' strike looms, the big guys are taking sides. Tom Hanks et al want the membership of one of the unions, AFTRA, to ratify their deal, while Jack Nicholson et al think a ratification of the AFTRA contract would put the ongoing SAG negotiations in peril. Or something like that. Check here and here for the details I can't explain properly without spending time I don't have. I have to say though, that in a hand-to-hand battle I'd bet on Jack and Ben over Tom and Kevin.

Christina Aguilera is excited about voting The singer visited Larry King, 107, last night and talked about her Rock the Vote PSA. Story and video here. She, however, declined to discuss which presidential candidate she's supporting. It's a good idea not to get too excited and, say, talk about your close personal relationship with Barack Obama, when such a relationship does not exist. Like Scarlett Johansson did, for example. Awkward.

Madonna, Guy and the future division of her assets

The Madonna divorce talk is on a again. The Times reports that Madonna has indeed hired Paul McCartney's skilled divorce lawyer, Fiona Shackleton. This very rumour has been around for some days, but was denied by Madonna's spokesmodel. The Times says that, "Madonna, whose fortune is estimated to be worth £300 million, is understood to be seeking legal advice on a possible divorce from her husband of seven years, the film director Guy Ritchie." Also, "Guy Ritchie is thought to have had dealings with a lesser-known" law firm.  We'll no doubt hear a denial in four, three, two, ... It's The Times, though. That's still gotta count for something. Doesn't it?

Everyone loves a cute robot The reviews are a bit sunnier this week. Last week's smack-down of The Love Guru and the lukewarm reception of Get Smart are replaced with accolades for WALL-E, which is right now at 92 per cent fresh on Rotten Tomatoes . One of the reviewers gushes that, "Stanton and Pixar have achieved a new plateau in their craft, creating what's destined to be a beloved classic, right up there with the likes of Snow White, Bambi and Cinderella ..."  The Angelina Jolie/James McAvoy action fest, Wanted gets 81 per cent fresh and even one of the negative reviewers has to admit that, "Wanted is as stylish as it is foolish, but it has one thing going for it: exploding rats." I'm so there.
