Good news for Shia LaNotAtFault

TMZ reports that Shia LaBeouf was not at fault in Sunday morning's crash. Police says it looks like another person ran a red light, which lead to the accident. No word on what that means for his DUI charge. The LA Times says he hasn't yet been arraigned. And just so you know, if I write "LaBeouf" 1,000 more times I will still not be able to do it without carefully checking how it's spelled.

So, in case you were wondering where Simon Lee was during the last two episodes of How Do You Solve a Problem like Maria? it turns out he was busy being arrested and charged with assault and forcible confinement.

According to the CBC, "Toronto Police have confirmed Lee was arrested on Sunday night in a hotel room in Yorkville. It's alleged that he hit his victim, then kept the victim from leaving the room."

Lee, 46, is a musical supervisor and conductor.

People who dress so much better than you

Vanity Fair has revealed its International Best-Dressed List. Yes, I know! I was waiting for it with baited breath all week just like you were. The list includes Michelle Obama, Daniel Craig, Tilda Swinton, Kanye West, Ivanka Trump, Kelly Lynchm, David Beckham, and, of course, those household names and much-copied style icons, The Duke of Feria, the crown prince of Greece and H.S.H. Prince Heinrich von und zu Fursternberg. I personally don't leave the house without wondering if Prince Heinrich would would approve of my outfit.

Angelina's daddy doesn't like Obama

Jon Voight has written an angry op-ed piece for the Washington Times lambasting Barack Obama. Choice excerpts:

"The Democratic Party, in its quest for power, has managed a propaganda campaign with subliminal messages, creating a God-like figure in a man who falls short in every way. It seems to me that if Mr. Obama wins the presidential election, then Messrs. Farrakhan, Wright, Ayers and Pfleger will gain power for their need to demoralize this country and help create a socialist America."

"If, God forbid, we live to see Mr. Obama president, we will live through a socialist era that America has not seen before, and our country will be weakened in every way."

It goes on and on along those lines.

He then goes on to say, "But what I really want is to see my grandchildren Knoxville, Vivian, Sheila, Pix, Pox and Savannah, and for some very strange reason I havent' received an invitation. It's probably in the mail, unless the socialists stole it." No, he didn't say that. Stop it.

Dog food! Yum-O!

My most favourite person in all the world, Rachael Ray, has launched a dog food brand. It's called Nutrish. Yes, it really is. I want to say bad things about that, but it's all for charity so I will hold my tongue. No, I won't, because that would be kind of disgusting and cause my co-workers to start a whisper campaign. But I will be quiet and absolutely refrain from pointing out that her dog looks like he/she would rather chew his/her own paws off than sample those crunchies. That's one melancholy puppy. AP PHOTO

Ryan Seacrest bitten by shark. No, really

Us reports that Ryan Seacrest was bitten by a shark over the weekend. He said on his radio show that, "There were like 1,000 people in the ocean, and I get bit by the shark!" and "I saw it swim! He took a bite, and he left."

I'm sorry and I apologize to anyone who has suffered personal trauma due to shark bites or bites of any other kind, but this is the funniest thing ever. For today. Sadly, I can already imagine the never-ending stream of shark references from Simon during the next season of Idol. But, for now? Damn. It's even funnier than Shannen Doherty, according to TMZ, going to the police to complain that she's been stalked by paparazzi and the police having no idea who she is. And that's really funny, too.
