Alright. I saw Twilight last night. I can't say anything about it, because I'm not the film critic here. But, I think that I am free to point out that, yes, the hair is a star. A shining beacon of vampirey attractiveness, that deserves its own credit. That's it. That's all you're going to get from me. However, over at Rotten Tomatoes they have a nice selection of opinions and they're not all that kind to the movie or the hair. As of right now, the movie is scoring 44 per cent fresh. On the negative side, we have Variety pointing out that Twilight is, "A disappointingly anemic tale of forbidden love that should satiate the pre-converted but will bewilder and underwhelm viewers who haven't devoured Stephenie Meyer's bestselling juvie chick-lit franchise." On the sort-of-positive side, there's, "If there is one saving grace to the film it is the performance of Pattinson." (It should, of course, have said "Pattinson's hair." I'm sure they're busy correcting it right now.)
BTW - just to point out that I'm not alone in the whole hair-obsession - at io9 they did a "Vampires ate your hair" thing yesterday. I'm not linking to it, because, as you know, we have rules and regulations jere about foul language and there's some in their comments for this particular feature. Anyprudent, I'm not going to be the one to introduce any readers to bad words they've never seen before. But I will point out that both Spike and Angel are used as examples of terrible vampire hair. I have to agree, which pains me.

I'm going to see "Twilight" on Sunday, and I'll probably give it "two fangs up," and "two fangs down."
