You could see Bob was irritated at beginning of show when the interviewer was doing the long intro. Bob was just so arrogant and cocky. His bandmates were more intelligent. At the end Bob refused to play and you could see his bandmates were not too happy and uncomfortable, you can see the Bob is the boss. What a jerk, that is not how you promote your band and music. Oh where is team spirit Bob.

I am holding my head in astonishment. Billie Bob Thornton is abusive and ordinary. What a poor excuse for an artist, and part of me wonders if he was under the influence as this behaviour is bizarre and unbalanced. Why Jian would have to be exposed to such a crude unsteady energy is problematic, and makes me wonder what remedy good journalism has when forced to engage irrational guests.

Well isn't that BB just a pill. And those other three guys seemed real uncomfortable! Why they're all acting like before the interview he threatened to kill their cats. Almost like they're waiting for the guy to implode or even afraid of what he's gonna do next. Guess they're used to his 'unique' persona. I love when musical "artists" and communicators impose constraints on free speech and censor what can and cannot be said in their presence and in fact to them or tabled over the air. And hey, if you don't like the audiences up here - suggestion... don't come and take our money. Jian handled well, how he managaed to not bust out laughing; I give him credit. He must have felt like he was dealing with a pissy 4-year-old who didn't get his nap.

I think that Billy Bob is beyond annoying and bordering on confused. My sense from watching this is that there is something wrong possibly mentally happening with him. His band members looked tense from the get go as they were probably expecting him to be disoriented. I'm not buying that this is just him being difficult.

This clip is of a parent dealing with a two-year-old. Billy Bob needs to grow up. Well done Ghomeshi for being gracious when confronted with such pre-pubescent silliness from Thornton. I hope this interview convinces everyone that Thornton and his "music" are a complete waste of time.

Total doofus no respect for yourself or others, you are only an actor you know, you are only as good as the script and as good as the Director makes you out to be. We have been stupid to spend $$ to watch your movies so far, but hey you know what sorry man won't do that mistake again. Bob hope you never get a movie again and i hope no one buys your records ever again. I feel for your band mates, may i suggest the rest of the band to go regroup with someone who is a muscian and not a washed up actor.
