Lindsay Lohan's dad is in trouble again

It's been a while since we've heard/read any words of wisdom from Lindsay's father Michael. Maybe it's because he's been busy getting himself arrested. Check out the attractive mugshot via radaronline.

AP reports that, Lindsay Lohan’s troubled father has been charged with making a threatening phone call to his girlfriend. The Suffolk County district attorney’s office on Long Island says Lohan surrendered last month on a charge of aggravated harassment. Prosecutors say he threatened to kill himself and 34-year-old Erin Muller if she left him. Lohan denies in Newsday that he made threats and predicted vindication. His lawyer did not return a call seeking comment Thursday. Michael Lohan was released from prison in 2007 after serving nearly two years for attempted assault and driving while intoxicated.  Lindsay Lohan reportedly has no contact with her father, who is due back in court next month.

BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE: eonline reports that Michael says, "by no means did I threaten to cause harm to Erin or myself...As a matter of fact, Erin even told the court that she didn't want to pursue anything. It's all going to be dropped." As for that telephone call..."A person she thought was her friend violated her in a way that I don't want to describe," he says, explaining that a distressed Mueller phoned him from Long Island while he was in Las Vegas. "When I found out the truth it didn't sit well with me." ... Lohan surrendered for arrest on April 6 and was arraigned in district court. He remains free on his own recognizance pending a June 10 court date ... he also couldn't resist a parting shot at his longtime nemesis and former Lindsay love Samantha Ronson. "If Sam does come back in her life," he says, "it is all going to go downhill."

"Not only was George flatlining at the end of the season finale earlier this month, but the 36-year-old actor has reportedly wanted off the hit ABC series for quite some time.I'm told that tension between Knight and show creator Shonda Rhimes has become unbearable for both. Knight, an original member of the Grey's cast, was said to have become increasingly frustrated by his character's lack of storyline and camera face time. Courtney Love sued by Amex Reuters reports that, "American Express Co wants Courtney Love to leave home without it. The financial services firm sued the musician in Los Angeles on Wednesday, alleging she owes more than $350,000 in unpaid charges and other fees on her AmEx Gold card. The lawsuit, filed in U.S. District Court, seeks $352,059.67 for the unpaid balance, damages, attorney's fees and late charges, and says Love's charging privileges were suspended after she "failed and refused" to make payments. Love's publicist said he had no immediate information on the suit, and had left a message with her attorney." I can't wait to read what Courtney has to blog about this.

Freddie Prinze Jr. gets a job Whew. With wife Sarah Michelle Gellar all kinds of pregnant, it's good to know Prinze is finally gainfully employed. According to the Hollywood Reporter via comingsoon, "Freddie Prinze Jr. is joining the cast of Fox's "24" as a regular, playing Davis Cole, a recently returned Marine who runs CTU Field Ops and wants to follow in Jack Bauer's (Kiefer Sutherland) footsteps."

Is Anchorman 2 happening? EW believes it is. "Will Ferrell, in Australia promoting Land of the Lost, told [an Australian radio station]  that he expected to meet with Paul Rudd and Steve Carell "next week" to discuss ideas…and salaries: "[Because] believe me, I'm not taking a pay-cut. No way!"

Man says he was beaten up by Chris Brown's bodyguard According to People, "Robert Rosen is suing Brown, 20, for personal injury, alleging he was roughed up after taking a snapshot of Brown at a Los Angeles fitness club ... Rosen claims he was chased by the bodyguard, who yelled at him after taking the picture while Brown was playing basketball, and attempted to run away, but an employee of L.A. Fitness Club allegedly "tried to block [Rosen's] exit and grabbed his clothing and body." Rosen broke free but then fell down a flight of stairs, the lawsuit says. The bodyguard then allegedly "picked [Rosen] up by his shorts, and physically assaulted him," according to the lawsuit. Rosen adds he was "severely injured and disabled, both internally and externally," claims he was falsely imprisoned, and is seeking damages covering his medical bills and emotional distress."  And in case you haven't heard the alleged girlfriend beater explaining how he's not a monster while promoting his new album, here's the video:
