Sweet, sweet celebrity meltdowns

So last night at the MTV Awards, Eminem got himself a (perhaps) unexpected faceful of Bruno goodies and left in a huff and a storm of invective. Opinion on whether the stunt was planned or not wary vary (thank you. attentive reader, for pointing out my spelling mistake). Some seem to think Eminem knew that Bruno - dressed as a beautiful angel of the Lord - would land on him. Just not that he'd land on his face. I very much hope the whole thing, including the walkout, was planned. I kinda like Eminem and I really don't want him to be a douchy, humourless primadonna. More here. UPDATE: An MTV insider has told Life & Style that producer Mark Burnett cleared the prank with the rapper beforehand. However, Eminem wasn't aware of exactly how naked Sacha would be when he agreed to do it! A second insider also confirms that Eminem was actually Burnett's second choice. The first? Heiress Paris Hilton, who, luckily for her, declined to participate (probably because she was on a date with boyfriend Doug Reinhardt!). "Paris is quite happy she turned down the offer," the insider tells Life & Style.

Meanwhile, that British woman who looks like Colm Meaney, didn't win Britain's Got Talent. And then Susan Boyle reportedly had to go to an undisclosed location to calm down. According to People, "Police were summoned to Boyle's hotel ... where the Scottish singing sensation exhibited symptoms of "emotional breakdown" following the show's Saturday finale. "We were called about 6 p.m. on Sunday to a central London hotel to doctors assessing a woman under the Mental Health Act," a police spokesperson tells the paper. "Police attended at the request of ambulance personnel and the woman was taken voluntarily to a clinic. No one was arrested and there were no allegations of crime." A spokeswoman at London's Priory Clinic – where Boyle was reportedly rushed – would not confirm or deny whether the star had been admitted, the Daily Mail reports. Britain's Got Talent producers released the following statement: "Following Saturday night's show, Susan is exhausted and emotionally drained. She has been seen by her private GP who supports her decision to take a few days out for rest and recovery ... We offer her our ongoing support and wish her a speedy recovery." Let this be a lesson to everyone. Do not attempt to change your lot in life. Do not try to be something you're not. Nothing good will come of it. Stay down on the farm. You know I'm right.

I honestly don't think this was set up to a point where he knew that another man's cheeks will be right in his face. We know E is not anti-gay since he did perform with Elton John before. I think MTV did it on purpose because E sings a lot of 'good stuff' about other celebs etc.

Whether he knew it or not - that was flipping nasty. There was just something weird about the entire show - as if being naked on national tv was the theme of it - I for one don't get it!

SASHA BAREN COHEN IS NOT GAY, HE'S MARRIED. Bruno is a gay charachter which he acts as (Emeniem would have known that). As the comment above said Emeniem would have seen Bruno coming down and moved. This is just a publicity stunt so stupid people watch and be shocked and go around talking abut it and create more publicity and then go buy their CD's and go watch their movies. You Americans are so easy please it's a wonder why the rest of the world thinks your dumb.

Britan's got talent, the Auditions is also staged, Susan Boyle was a staged act (not her talent), the way they make her come out like she has no talent but shocks everyone is staged and you guys fell for it.
