Charges coming soon in Michael Jackson death? TMZ seems to think so: "The D.A. is ready to charge Dr. Conrad Murray in the death of Michael Jackson ...multiple law enforcement sources tell TMZ. Our sources tell TMZ members of the D.A.'s office -- including Los Angeles County District Attorney Steve Cooley -- have already met about filing a criminal case against Dr. Murray. Members of the LAPD still have not met with the D.A. to present the case, however, our sources say the deputy D.A. assigned to the case -- David Walgren -- has worked closely with LAPD detectives on the case, is intimately familiar with the investigation, has all the LAPD investigative notes and has already briefed Cooley and others in the office. We're told Dr. Murray could be charged with involuntary manslaughter as early as next week."
That host woman leaves DWTS "Samantha Harris has left the ballroom! The Dancing With the Stars co-host will not return to ABC’s celebrity dance competition when it returns for its tenth season on March 22. Harris, who has co-hosted with Tom Bergeron for the past eight seasons, told People Thursday that the decision to leave the show wasn’t easy. “[DWTS] could not have been more of a dream job,” she says. “I loved every single second of it and I’ve made lifelong friends at the show.” But Harris, who majored in journalism at Northwestern University, says that she is focusing on other projects like her correspondent duties at The Insider, which she says have expanded in the past year." Could this be to make room for Paula Abdul? Not that I really care. All I care about it Tom Selleck. I want to see Tom Selleck on Dancing With The Stars. I think that's a reasonable request.
Goodbye, Miramax "The New York and L.A. offices of Miramax movie studio are reportedly shuttering their doors this week. Disney Studios announced last year that it was significantly downsizing its indie division. The company, formed by brothers Harvey and Bob Weinstein in 1979 and acquired by Disney in 1993, is responsible for critical and commercial hits like Pulp Fiction, Shakespeare in Love, Good Will Hunting, The Talented Mr. Ripley, and Chicago." Michael Lohan arrested I'd forgotten he existed, so it's nice to get an update: "Police on New York's Long Island say Michael Lohan, estranged father of Lindsay Lohan, was arrested Thursday morning and charged with criminal contempt. Bryan Konoski, an attorney for Lohan's ex-girlfriend Erin Muller, 34, tells the New York Post that Lohan, 49, allegedly phoned Muller at work Jan. 21 – in violation of an order of protection. Lohan had been arrested on a similar charge in December. His attorney said his client is the victim of fabrications, the Associated Press reports." People.

"That host woman leaves DWTS:" Dreams don't always come true. I want to see Stephen Hawking on DWTS.
