Cakes for the Apocalypse

Cake-fallenangel Right before the zombies attack and the heavens open to rain frogs down upon the pillars of salt and upon the ruins and right around the time the four horsemen's jobs are done, I'm going to barricade myself with a large number of firearms.

And then I'm going to bake. But it would seem kinda trivial making cupcakes or raisinbread under such circumstances. Fortunately the pretty brilliant site, Apocalypse Cakes is ready to help me out with a number of exciting recipes.

The Fallen Angel cake, for example, looks delicicious, as does the Raining Blood cake and the Jonestown Massacre Kool-Aid cake. Also, check out the Agent Orange Carrot Cake, The Bird Flu Feather Cake and The Global Jihad Date Cake. Yum.

Stargazing blog by Malene Arpe

  • Malene’s interests and hobbies include Schadenfreude, sci-fi and fantasy (good and bad alike), hilarious hair pieces, age-inappropriate celebrity crushes, messed-up starlets, waiting for the next Star Trek movie, hating Björk, creative profanity, disobedient robots, fake celebrity relationships, post-apocalyptic dread, singing super-villains, baseball, David Beckham (but only when he keeps his mouth shut), vampires and knitting tiny sweaters for her seven cats. That’s not true. Maybe.
