Did Natalie Portman forget something at TIFF?
Shirt? Check. Sweater? Check. Shoes? Check. Hair all done? Check. Handlers? Check. Okay. Everything is good. Let's go, then ... wait. I don't know. It still seems I may have forgotten something, but I can't think what. Is anyone else cold? It seems really chilly here. Never mind. Let's go.

Have to agree with most of the posts. The TIFF is supposed to be about the films and/or movies, not about the superfical BLING factor. I still remember what Tom Selleck said about the TIFF a few years back. He said the reason why actors and directors loved to come to Toronto was because most fans/media did not over-react to actors. They understood that the people that should command respect and admiration were those saving lives as Sick Kids, not walking on some red carpet at Roy Thomson Hall. I think we all need to keep that in mind. Keep the TIFF humble and stop trying to be like Cannes.
