Extra-important programming note

Bird Pay attention. Please. As of Wednesday March 30 Thursday March 31 The Toronto Star's online entertainment content will move to toronto.com. It's a new vertical. I'm not sure I know what that means, but I'm told it will be shiny and awesome. Bottomline is, I'm moving too. The new blog address will be toronto.com/blog/stargazing. Copy the address and keep it somewhere safe until Wednesday Thursday. The site will not be live until Wednesday so don't try it now. No, don't. I told you not to.

As a result of the move, there will be no blogging on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday. The people in charge of the move have to wiggle their magic chicken bones over the wires to make it all happen and that means the old blog will be on-bloggeable. Or something. So, please follow me to the new address Wednesday Thursday and please bear with me as I get used to a brand-new blogging system. And please don't leave me as I screw up repeatedly while trying to figure out how everything works. I have serious abandonment issues. Again, the new address is toronto.com/blog/stargazing. Also, the Twitter address - twitter.com/stargazingblog - will stay the same.

ALSO: Since several of you have asked: Yes, I will still be doing the Sunday pages and the tabloid round-up in the Sunday paper. The blog move has nothing to do with that.

We'll be there, Malene. Never fear!

We might not be the brightest, or the best looking, or the most talkative readers, but we're loyal!

One request I do have: When you post youtube clips it seems to get cut off - you can't full screen for example. It would be nice to be able to do that sometimes. Get cat closeups and the such.

What he said. :)

I will follow you!! Will you still be doing the Stargazing pages in the Sunday Star??

we missssssssss you!

Stargazing blog by Malene Arpe

  • Malene’s interests and hobbies include Schadenfreude, sci-fi and fantasy (good and bad alike), hilarious hair pieces, age-inappropriate celebrity crushes, messed-up starlets, waiting for the next Star Trek movie, hating Björk, creative profanity, disobedient robots, fake celebrity relationships, post-apocalyptic dread, singing super-villains, baseball, David Beckham (but only when he keeps his mouth shut), vampires and knitting tiny sweaters for her seven cats. That’s not true. Maybe.
