"Denise and Eloise's big sisters couldn't be happier and feel incredibly blessed." Shortly after the news broke, Richards posted a message of appreciation to her fans on Twitter. J.Lo only hold-out for American Idol E!: "The breakout star of American Idol's 10th season is coming back for another go—no, not Scotty McCreery, we're talking about Steven Tyler! A Fox rep confirms to E! News that the tangent-prone rocker will be returning to dole out the advice (and, let's be honest, the lascivious stares) to contestants next year along with the big dawg himself, Randy Jackson. And since we all know Idol is nothing without our own Ryan Seacrest, that just leaves Jennifer Lopez as the sole holdout. So what's her deal? Well, while Tyler and Jackson's return was pretty much a given — Steven signed a multiyear deal with the reality show, and Randy told Lopez Tonight this spring that all three judges would be back—Lopez has been publicly coy about her possible return to the show ... Sounds like someone was taking notes when they were taught how to get the most out of negotiations in superstar school. She didn't bank a reported $12 million for her inaugural season on air for nothing, folks."
Justin Timberlake believes in MySpace THR: "Justin Timberlake is taking a minority stake in MySpace after its acquisition by online advertising network Specific Media and will help the company develop its new strategy and creative direction. Timberlake had a key role in Oscar-nominated The Social Network about Facebook and its founders and is now taking a lead role in the future of MySpace, which has seen its user numbers decline amid competition from Facebook, which has been the dominant social network. Under its new owner, which finalized an acquisition for $35 million on Wednesday, MySpace is expected to focus on music. It has long been a popular way for music talent to present its work online and drive fans to concerts and the like."
Have a seat, Chris Hansen National Enquirer: "Investigative star Chris Hansen – best known for exposing Internet sex perverts on “To Catch a Predator” – has been caught in his own cheating scandal with a sexy blonde young enough to be his daughter! For nearly four months, sources say, the handsome father of two has been cheating on his wife with Kristyn Caddell, a news anchor at NBC affiliate WPTV in West Palm Beach, Fla. Hansen and his wife, Mary, 53, live together in Connecticut and have two sons, but that didn’t stop the “To Catch a Predator” star from being caught in his own web of deceit, say sources."
Lindsay Lohan is free Reuters: "Actress Lindsay Lohan was released from home detention on Wednesday after spending 35 days at her Los Angeles apartment for stealing a gold necklace, authorities said. A private company that handles monitoring equipment for home detention inmates removed the electronic ankle bracelet from the "Mean Girls" star on Wednesday morning, said Steve Whitmore, a spokesman for the Sheriff's Department. Lohan was sentenced in May to 120 days in jail, but the 24 year-old actress qualified for a shorter period of house arrest under programs for nonviolent offenders and to reduce overcrowding in Los Angeles jails. Lohan, a former child star, pleaded no contest in May to the theft of a $2,500 gold necklace from a Los Angeles boutique. She had walked out of the store wearing the jewelry."
Oh, goody TV Guide: "Joe Rogan has officially signed on to return as the host of NBC's Fear Factor revival. Rogan, who hosted the show's original run from 2001 to 2006, will be on hand when production begins at the end of July. "It doesn't seem real," Rogan tells TV Guide Magazine. "It seems like some sort of bizarro dream world. But I'm looking forward to it. The idea of sitting at home and watching someone else host it would have driven me crazy." NBC has ordered eight episodes of the reborn Fear Factor, which producers say could be ready to air as soon as September. Fear Factor executive producer Matt Kunitz says he always planned to bring Rogan back. "We wouldn't want to do this show without Joe," Kunitz says. "This makes me 100 percent relieved. Part of the nostalgia of the show coming back is Joe Rogan. Joe is a guy's guy, but women like him as well."
