Apart from that, how was your weekend?
Mine kinda sucked was super-awesome because I got to work both Saturday and Sunday. I hope yours was great too. If not, then you can console yourselves with a picture of George Clooney's former girlfriend doing the good old "bleep you" and "look what you're missing" photo for PETA. Here are some news:
Gwyneth scores an Emmy Us: "Gwyneth Paltrow received an award for her guest role on Glee at the Creative Arts Emmys in L.A. Saturday. Justin Timberlake was also honored for his guest appearance on Saturday Night Live. The Social Network star, 30, scored another Emmy for writing the original music and lyrics of his SNL monologue. Survivor's Jeff Probst won his fourth-straight Emmy for Reality or Reality-Competition Host, while Discovery Channel's Deadliest Catch won the Emmy for Outstanding Reality Show. But the night's biggest winner was Boardwalk Empire. The HBO series had seven wins, including best casting for a drama and cinematography for a drama."
New fake couple alert "Jennifer Lopez might be moving on from hubby Marc Anthony in a big way -- because Saturday night she went out on a date with Bradley Cooper ... TMZ has learned. We're told the two hit up Per Se, a restaurant located at Columbus Circle in New York City. We're told the dinner was "romantic" and was just the two of them. Lopez and Anthony announced their divorce on July 15."
Contagion does okay at the box office The wash-your-hands-more movie made $23.1 million over the weekend for first place. The Help was in second with $8.6 million and Warrior was kinda disappointing with just $5.6 million. Box Office Mojo.
Oh, Michael Lohan, don't ever change TMZ: "Kate Major says Michael Lohan is at it again - sending both her and her father threatening messages - so she's once again filed for an order of protection against him. Major filed docs last week in Sarasota County, FL. - alleging, among other things, that Lohan has threatened to have her dad "whacked" and threatened to "ruin her career." According to a police report, included in the docs, cops went to Major's home last week because she claims Lohan was repeatedly calling and texting her. The report says Lohan called while police were there - and an officer told him Major didn't want him to contact her anymore. If this sounds familiar, it should - this is the third time Major has sought an order of protection against Lohan. This latest order was not immediately approved. A hearing is scheduled for September 13. Calls to Michael Lohan have not been returned."
