New trailer for Tintin
I don't know about this. I should be a fluttery with anticipation as I spent great swaths of my childhood reading every single Tintin comic (along with Lucky Luke and Asterix and all the other comics one read when one grew up in Europe and had a local library with a mind-blowing comics section), but this just leaves me oddly unmoved.
If you're into Tintin and comics in general, here's a press release for an exhibit you may want to check out: The Beguiling Books & Art and Steam Whistle Brewery are teaming to produce, TORONTO DRAWS TINTIN. Featuring the work of dozens of comic artists and illustrators from Toronto this event is a celebration of all things TinTin and his creator Herge. It will feature dozens of pieces of original artwork which will be auctioned off in support of The Comic Legends Legal Defense Fund.Steam Whistle Brewery is an avid supporter of the local art community and has been running monthly exhibits since 2001. The opening reception will take place at the brewery on November 2ndfrom 7:00pm-11:00pm and will be on display during regular brewery operation hours until November 27th.
