Why must they ruin everything?

WarmIt's one thing to make vampires sparkle. It's another to make werewolves cuddly. But when we're served up a zombie who looks like a blend of Lord Byron and that boy in high school who was, like, deep and always made you think he had a secret, I think we've reached the end of the line. This here is Nicholas Hoult, who stars in Warm Bodies. It's based on Issac Marion's YA novel about a zombie who falls in love with a living girl. I haven't read it and I never will, but I presume the girl doesn't take a shot gun and blow his head off as she should have done the first time she saw him. Or maybe she does and it's super-tragic because deep down under his insatiable hunger for brains he's, like, deep.

Stargazing blog by Malene Arpe

  • Malene’s interests and hobbies include Schadenfreude, sci-fi and fantasy (good and bad alike), hilarious hair pieces, age-inappropriate celebrity crushes, messed-up starlets, waiting for the next Star Trek movie, hating Björk, creative profanity, disobedient robots, fake celebrity relationships, post-apocalyptic dread, singing super-villains, baseball, David Beckham (but only when he keeps his mouth shut), vampires and knitting tiny sweaters for her seven cats. That’s not true. Maybe.
