George Clooney launching Tequila brand?

According to The Express, George Clooney and his friend Rande Gerber are getting into the booze business.

"George Clooney is teaming up with supermodel Cindy Crawford's restaurateur husband Rande Gerber to serve up a new tequila line. Clooney and the nightlife impresario have joined forces to make their favourite off-the-market tipple more accessible to fans. The pair has opted to name the product Casamigos, and Gerber insists he and his new business partner plan on making the liquor available to all. He tells 213Nightlife.com, "I don't think we're going to be following all the rules. We know we have a product we love and we drink, and other people will enjoy. The product speaks for itself."

Last time we heard George, who's been selling other brands throughout his career, talk about drinking, he didn't seem to so keen on the idea. In February he told The Hollywood Reporter, "I do enjoy drinking, and there have been times in my life when it’s crossed the line from being fun to having to drink late at night for absolutely no reason. So what I do is, I stop. I haven’t had a drink since New Year’s Eve."
