Splitsville Us: "Chris Harrison is now a Bachelor himself. The ABC host, 40, and his wife of 18 years, Gwen, are separating, Us Weekly can confirm. The couple - who met as students at Oklahoma City University - have two children: son Joshua, 9, and daughter Taylor, 7. "Though we have made this incredibly difficult decision to separate, our love and mutual respect remain, and we look forward to sharing in the lives of our wonderful children," they tell Us in a joint statement. A rep adds: "They happily remain committed and caring friends with great love and mutual admiration for each other." In February 2010, Bachelor contestant Rozlyn Papa accused Harrison of making a pass at a producer's wife while taping the show in New Zealand. "I won't even dignify that with a response," Harrison said during The Bachelor: The Women Tell All special. Harrison - who previously hosted HGTV's Designers' Challenge - has been with The Bachelor since its premiere in 2001."
More vampires, more Supernatural Coming Soon: "The CW Network has given early pickups to the network's top-rated show, "The Vampire Diaries," fan favorite "Supernatural," and the world's most-famous zip code, "90210," with all three series to return for the 2012 - 2013 season. "The Vampire Diaries" will return for a fourth season of bloody good drama this fall, "Supernatural" will mark its eighth season with the monster-hunting Winchester brothers on The CW, and on "90210," the gang from West Beverly will return for season five."
Demi's new name People: "Demi Moore's divorce is complete, at least on Twitter. Nearly six months after her split from husband Ashton Kutcher, the actress finally dumped her @MrsKutcher handle. "So hard finding a name that was fun somewhat playful and available," she Tweeted on Thursday. "So for now it will be @justdemi It could grow on me!" Moore, 49, who had largely gone silent on Twitter after entering treatment for unspecified reasons, has been Tweeting up a storm lately to promote the Lifetime show The Conversation with Amanda de Cadenet, on which she's executive producer. She wrote that she had been holding out for a new Twitter handle until she hit 5 million followers: "Thanks everyone for your help in finding my new name!"
Don't mess with Samuel L. Jackson Deadline: "Most of the critics were very positive about Marvel’s The Avengers opening at midnight tonight — which is why Samuel L. Jackson (aka Nick Fury) is so furious with The New York Times‘ negative review. The actor let his 825,315 followers on Twitter today know it. “#Avengers fans, NY Times critic AO Scott needs a new job! Let’s help him find one! One he can ACTUALLY do!”. The NYT’s AO Scott in his review of the Joss Whedon-directed Disney film said, “The Avengersis hardly worth raging about, its failures are significant and dispiriting.” Scott also called Jackson’s role as the head of superspy agency S.H.I.E.L.D “more master of ceremonies than mission commander” in his review."
