Matthew Fox charged People: "Matthew Fox seemed a little Lost REALLY? when he was pulled over and arrested last week at around 2:30 a.m. The actor, 45, was charged Wednesday with two misdemeanors, driving under the influence and driving without a license, according to a spokesperson at the Deschutes County, Oregon, District Attorney's office. Fox was originally stopped on May 4 for failing to drive within a lane and failing to use an appropriate signal, but the officer who stopped him determined that the star was driving under the influence, according to the Bend, Ore., Police Department. Taken into custody at the Deschutes County Adult Jail, Fox was released later that day. His arraignment is set for June 7. Last September, Fox had another run-in with the law when a Cleveland bus driver accused him of assault, battery and infliction of emotional distress. This instance was also said to involve alcohol."
More Community Deadline:"Community fans won’t have to stage an uprising. (Well, maybe just a small mutiny over the size of the order.) The cult NBC/Sony Pictures TV comedy series has been renewed for next season with a 13-episode order. The short pickup is not a surprising. As we reported, NBC had been eying abbreviated orders for most or all of its returning comedies, which freed up money to pick up more freshmen. With the renewal secured, the question Community faces heading into its fourth season is whether it will return with both creator/showrunner Dan Harmon and co-star Chevy Chase on board. There has been a well documented feud between the two, raising speculation whether they could continue to work together or one would step down. I hear it is unclear as of now if Harmon will continue as showrunner. That is a possibility, with other scenarios also explored. Leaving Community are longtime executive producers Neil Goldman and Garrett Donovan who just signed an overall deal with 20th Century Fox TV." 30 Rock has also been renewed for a final 13-episode season.
Johnny Depp denies he and un-wife split "Four months after People reported that Johnny Depp and Vanessa Paradis's relationship was all but finished, Depp on Wednesday denied that he and his partner of 14 years had split. "The rumors are not true. They are absolutely not true," the actor, 48, said on the red carpet for the London premiere of Dark Shadows, according to U.K.'s Sun. Still, conspicuously absent from the premiere was Paradis, who has not been seen publicly with Depp since reports about trouble between them. She also has not shared a red carpet with him in at least a year and a half. In January, Paradis was alone at the premiere of her own movie, Café de Flore. At the time, Paradis, 39 – a French singer, model and actress, and mother of two children with Depp – was evasive when asked about a split. "
Howard Stern slams Britney Spears' X-Factor job Us: "Not everyone is thrilled about Britney Spears officially signing on for The X Factor. At a press conference in New York City Thursday, America's Got Talent judge Howard Stern, 58, joked that Spears' hiring is "a wonderful decision" because she "still thinks the earth is flat." "I think we're going to tune in to see her, to see if she can function through the thing," Stern explained. "As far as any real criticism, I think Simon Cowell and L.A. Reid will do that. . .I think Britney will sit there and eat a lollipop and wear a sexy outfit. Said Stern: "I'll tune in to see what kind of train wreck she is, absolutely." Spears will get a reported $16 million for doing the FOX show. "There's been a lot of back and forth over the past few weeks as they negotiated the small details, but she's on," a source told E! News Wednesday. "It's all completed and Britney is beyond excited."
Catherine Zeta-Jones joins RED2 Coming Soon: "Summit Entertainment has announced that Catherine Zeta-Jones and Byung-Hun Lee will be joining the ensemble cast of the upcoming RED 2, set to hit theaters on August 2, 2013. The project is being directed by Dean Parisot from a screenplay by Erich and Jon Hoeber, who wrote the script for the original RED, based in turn on a comic book by Warren Ellis and Cully Hammer. RED 2 brings back the team of retired CIA operatives as they use their old-school style to take on a new set of enemies all across Europe. “We had so much fun making 'RED' and seeing that amazing cast assembled together – and so did consumers: over $200m worldwide and the number one home entertainment rental of last year," says Erik Feig, President, Lionsgate Motion Picture Group, Production. "We can't wait to bring them back together, give them some new friends, and show they ‘still got it.’”
