Justin Bieber is third on Forbes' Most Powerful Celebrities list

... he's also the coverboy of the new issue of Forbes. Here's a small excerpt from the story: "Bieber’s tech savvy infuses more than his music—it’s also a core strategy for how the entertainer intends to translate all that fame and fast money into enduring riches. Instinctively, he embraces a Peter Lynch model of investing—“I’m not going to invest in something I don’t like; I have to believe in the product”—but rather than load up on buy-what-you-know value stocks, the singer has been quietly plowing millions into private tech startups. According to his manager, Bieber holds stakes in a dozen such companies. FORBES was able to verify four: messaging platform Tinychat, social-­curation app Stamped, gaming outfit Sojo Studios and, most critically, Spot­i­fy, the disruptive music service founded by Daniel Ek and backed by everyone from Sean Parker to Li Ka-shing."

Here is the entire list, which will probably make you cry and rend your clothing. A few observations: 1) Seven of the top 10 are women, which is great. We'll try to forget the fact that Kim Kardashian ranks above Steven Spielberg. 2) A new reason for Jennifer Aniston to cry herself to sleep: She ranks nine spots beneath Angelina Jolie, who herself will have to come to terms with the fact that Taylor Swift is more powerful. 3) Gisele Bunchen is more important than Stephen King. Of course she is. 4) Taylor Lautner is more important than Seth MacFarlane. 6) I'll stop now or I'll have go bang my head into a wall.
