Sean Bean arrested for harassment

Maybe it's time he stops getting married. It's obviously not something he's very good at. The Daily Mail has this:

"Sean Bean was arrested yesterday following allegations of harassment against his former wife. The Game Of Thrones star was questioned by police over claims that he made abusive calls and sent a number of text messages to Georgina Sutcliffe. The 53-year-old gave DNA and had his fingerprints taken after arriving at Holborn police station in central London. A Scotland Yard spokesman said: ‘A 53-year-old man attended a London police station for a prearranged interview yesterday. He was bailed pending further inquiries. He was arrested on suspicion of harassment.’ Miss Sutcliffe, 34, who is acting in Agatha Christie’s The Mousetrap in the West End, is Bean’s fourth wife. The pair met in 2003 when she was managing the bar in a West End theatre in which Bean was playing Macbeth. She became his fourth wife at Marylebone registry office in London in 2008. They divorced two years later following a tumultuous relationship."

Of course he does. It's a natural reaction to getting engaged. What we don't know - because the story story from Star Magazine is as yet unavailable - is the name of the correspondence recipient. I think it's safe to say that if that name rhymed with mennifer blaniston, it would be on the cover. Perhaps it's an old flame from high school ("I loved your Facebook update. Your kids look great"), perhaps it's the cleaning lady ("I really love the way you clean the bathrooms. Very thorough. Good job. Here's a tip"), perhaps it's a colleague (I love your work in the new action-thriller. Really sharp"), perhaps it's the dog groomer ("I so love how soft and snuggly Rover is after visiting your shop"), perhaps it's his fitness coach ("I love how you've gotten me back in shape. Thank you"). I could literally go on for hours, but I won't.

I will say, however, that it sure is nice that one of the tabloids doesn't have a Kardashian as the main story.

John Mayer's new song is about Jennifer Aniston. Allegedly

Take that Angelina. You may have everything and a French castle, but do you have a self-centered John Mayer pimping out your old love affair? I think not. Us has this:

After high-profile flameouts both Simpson, 31, and then Aniston, Mayer is done dating celebs, the source adds. Whew. That's better. Except I already tore up all my posters. Anyweirdness, E! claims the whole story (which you can read a couple of posts down) is a hoax-type thing.

"Tabloid reports claimed the shock rocker got hitched to Seraphim Ward, an actress and self-described "independent occult film maker" he only just started dating a little more than five weeks ago. But is it true? "Marilyn Manson is not engaged to Seraphim Ward. He has never met her," Manson's publicist tells E! News. Life & Style first broke news that the Antichrist Superstar popped the question last Thursday night after giving the 27-year-old thesp a diamond ring that once belonged to his grandmother. But Manson's rep added that there was "no factual basis or confirmation" to the report."

Jennie Garth all kinds of 'bitter.' Allegedly

It looks like Us has assumed the leadership of Team Facinelli and is busy getting the t-shirts printed and painting Jennie Garth as some sort of damaged woman who is currently cooking up evil enchantment potions in her spooky kitchen.

"Jennie Garth is on the warpath. In the wake of her March split with husband of 11 years Peter Facinelli, the bitter 40-year-old actress has been blabbing about their breakup in the press. Facinelli - father to daughters Luca, 14, Lola, 9, and Fiona, 5 - is trying to ignore his estranged wife's war of words and her loopy behavior. Adam Levine surprised to be dumped. Allegedly

Awww ... so sads. Adam Levine's ex did a mean thing and dumped him without warning. But, as we will learn from this fascinating narrative from Us, she had good reason.

"Adam Levine is, well, in misery. After his Sports Illustrated swimsuit model girlfriend of two years, Anne Vyalitsyna, dumped him, she announced it to the world April 2 without giving him a heads-up. "It was a cheap shot," a pal tells the new issue of Us Weekly. "Anne didn't want it to look like he broke up with her." The Maroon 5 frontman and Voice mentor, 33 - who was home in L.A. when Vyalitsyna broke up with him from NYC - "was blindsided," says a Levine pal. "Adam's heartbroken. He wasn't even fully sure they were really broken up." Though Levine didn't predict a split, friends of the couple saw it coming. "Anne said he didn't pay her enough attention," a friend of the model, 26, tells Us. Another gripe: Levine wasn't planning to propose anytime soon. "As a woman, you get to a point where you want to get married," an insider explains. "Adam wasn't ready to take that step." Women. Without marriage they are nothing. Nothing, I say. All women get to that point were a ring is the only thing that counts. So true. Don't tell me otherwise. We may be living in 1753, but some things never change. What has always been thus will continue to be thus. And men who don't understand this will continue to suffer the indignity of being dumped by super models.
