Well, isn't this just classy and lovely and high-roady? Not only are these two fighting over a violent so-and-so (aka Sometimes-I-really-wish-I-was-allowed-to-swear-on-this-blog), they're doing it in public and with an extra helping of slurs.

Us has this: "Rihanna may have a remix with her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, and as far as his current girlfriend Karrueche Tran is concerned, that's about where their relationship ends! The aspiring model who's been hot and heavy with Brown since January, lashed out at the "We Found Love" singer on her Facebook page. "I'm Angeline [sic], you're Jen. C'mon you see where Brad is at," Tran, 23, posted to her profile, referencing the famous Angelina Jolie/Brad Pitt/Jennifer Aniston love triangle. YES, THANKS FOR EXPLAINING THAT. I THOUGHT YOU WERE REFERRING TO THE ANGELINA/BRAD/JENNIFER TRILATERAL TAX AND TRADE AGREEMENT OF 1978. The cyber attack came after Rihanna, 24, tweeted a photo that could be interpreted as a racist jab at Tran, who is half-Vietnamese: a bag of rice cakes with gold earrings and black shades, along with the caption, "Ima make u my bitch," on March 3. On Tuesday, Rihanna, perhaps fueling the feud again, tweeting lyrics from Lil Kim/Mob Deep's remix "Quiet Storm," "I'm a leader, yall on some followin s***…comin in dis game on some modeling s***!" possibly referencing Tran's occupation. In January, sources close to the exes told Us Weekly that the pair have been secretly hooking up for nearly a year. "Rihanna loves to live dangerously, and talking to and hooking up with Chris is all part of that," adds a Rihanna insider. Meanwhile, Brown's rep tells Us, "He and Rihanna are just friends. He's not cheating."

Price of movie popcorn causes lawsuit

Yes, the prices we pay at the movie theatre concession stands are perhaps a bit steep. But there are time-tested ways to get around this problem: 1) Wear a hat filled with Twizzlers. 2) Stuff your bra with popcorn. 3) Rootbeer underwear. 4) Somehow manage to get through two hours of your day without chewing.

But for one Michigan man those options were obviously just a bit too easy and obvious and now he's suing AMC for charging too much for popcorn.

The L.A. Times has this: "A Michigan man says the price of movie theater popcorn is ridiculously high. Same goes for the sodas and candies sold by movie concessionaires. So Joshua Thompson is taking the issue to a higher authority: He's filed a class-action lawsuit to end what he says is price gouging. Thompson, an avid moviegoer from Livonia, Mich., used to bypass the high prices charged for theater popcorn, soda and candy by bringing in his own treats, said his attorney, Kerry Morgan. But Thompson arrived at his local theater outside Detroit recently to find a new sign telling customers they were no longer allowed to bring in their own goodies. "He called me and said, 'Can they do that?' " Morgan told The Times. The attorney said his first reaction was, "Sure, they can do that, it's private property." But then he began doing a little legal research and came across the Michigan Consumer Protection Act, a statute designed to prevent price gouging. And a lawsuit was born. The suit, which seeks refunds in a class action on behalf of moviegoers who were overcharged, was filed last week in Wayne County Circuit Court against AMC Theatres. A spokesman for AMC told The Times that he could not comment on pending litigation. While the lawsuit addresses alleged price gouging only in Michigan, you can bet that it will probably  trigger copycat lawsuits elsewhere if successful. But don't hold your breath. Some legal experts told the Detroit Free Press that businesses that are already regulated, like movie theaters, are exempt form the state's price-gouging statute."

TMZ has this: "Simon Cowell says he's still close with Paula Abdul - even though he just fired her ass - and plans to work with her again in the very near future. Cowell released a statement about the bloodbath at "X Factor" ... saying, "I want to say a massive thank you to Paula, Nicole and Steve for being part of the 'X Factor' last year." He added, "You do develop friendships with the people you work with and Paula, in particular, is a very close friend and I expect to be working with her on another project in the near future."

And the Daily News has this: "Paula Abdul took the high road Tuesday as she broke her silence on her unceremonious exit from "The X-Factor." "Yes, it's true; I won't be returning to The X Factor next season," Abdul said in a statement. "I've learned through my longevity in this industry that business decisions often times override personal considerations. Abdul's "American Idol" co-host Simon Cowell had brought her onboard for the first season of the American version of his hit British reality singing competition series, but showed no favoritism as he cleaned house Monday night. The "Straight Up" singer joined host Steve Jones and fellow judges Nicole Scherzinger on the unemployment line. The show's ratings had been solid, but disappointing - leading Cowell to make the changes for "The X-Factor's" next season. Cowell once boasted that anything less than 20 million weekly for "The X Factor" would be disappointing. The show averaged roughly 12.5 million. While the moves to jettison Scherzinger and Jones came as little surprise based on their critically canned performances, Abdul's firing surprised observers, especially given her history as Cowell's favorite on-air sparring partner and friend. "Simon and I, along with Fox and Fremantle, have been communicating about this for a while now, and I have absolute understanding of the situation," Abdul said in her statement. "Simon is, and will remain a dear friend of mine and I've treasured my experience working this past season with my extended family at Fox and Fremantle. "I want nothing more than for The X Factor to exceed ALL of their wildest dreams. This truly has been a blessing and I am most grateful."

Ashton Kutcher blocks journalists on Twitter

That's a smart move. Because if you aren't following him there's absolutely no way you can have a look at his account and learn fascinating things such as, "These new "healfast" band-aids look so cool you want WANT to get hurt just to wear one." Or grab a photo labelled "back to work #twoandahalfmen." It's going to be a real problem. You also couldn't set up a fake account or get your mom to follow and report back. So, yes, overall, excellent strategy. Now we'll never know anything about Ashton anymore.

Radaronline has this: "Ashton Kutcher is one of the most followed celebrities on Twitter, but RadarOnline.com has exclusively learned there are certain people the Two and a Half Men actor is now blocking from his account — journalists. On Monday morning RadarOnline.com's Executive Vice President and Editor in Chief at Star magazine David Perel and the Senior Executive Editor of both Radar and Star Dylan Howard were blocked from seeing Kutcher's tweets, along with numerous other entertainment journalists in the industry, despite being one of his 9.3 million long-time followers. "@aplusk is awfully  sensitive these days ... blocking entertainment journalists on Twitter and using a lawyer on the Demi situation," Perel tweeted from his @IMPerel account. "Sure @aplusk has banned @dylanshoward and me from following him, but we always had a lot more fun with Charlie anyway! #winning." Perel is referring to L. Stanton Stein, the new attorney Kutcher has hired to make sure the situation between himself and his estranged wife Demi Moore — who was taken to the hospital a week ago because she was taking Adderall and had a seizure and suffers from anorexia - doesn't reflect poorly on him. It was of course Star magazine who exclusively broke the details of Kutcher and Moore's impending $290 million divorce, a full nine weeks before the actress announced they were separating. Star was also the magazine that splashed exclusive photos of the Punk'd star partying with a gaggle of blonde girls in the San Diego hotel penthouse, where he reportedly slept with 23-year-old Sara Leal on his sixth wedding anniversary with Moore, across their cover in October."

... at least that's what I'm getting from this cover of Life & Style. I haven't seen the story, but let's not have that stand between us and a good outrage.

It looks like the evil, careless mother has let Shiloh decide on her own hair style, while Brad spends his days and nights breaking down. It's a tragedy that, once again, puts in relief the suffering starving and persecuted masses around the world.
