Avengers breaks more records Box Office Mojo: "With Dark Shadows providing little in the way of competition, The Avengers had no trouble at all extending its stranglehold on the box office this weekend. Marvel's superhero team-up fell 50 percent to an estimated $103.2 million, which is by-far the best second weekend ever ahead of Avatar's $75.6 million. It also topped The Dark Knight for best second weekend hold for a movie that opened to more than $120 million. Other new records include fastest movie to $300 million and $350 million, and highest eight-day, nine-day, and ten-day grosses. Through Sunday, The Avengers is estimated to have earned $373.2 million, which ranks 18th on the all-time domestic chart. It's now inevitable that the movie will finish above $500 million, and it should also claim third place on the all-time chart ahead of The Dark Knight ($533.3 million). As expected, Dark Shadows couldn't hold a candle to The Avengers, though its estimated $28.8 million opening is still a bit of a disappointment."

Demi Lovato joins X-Factor "Demi Lovato has officially signed her deal and will be a judge on the next season of "The X Factor" ... TMZ has learned. According to our sources, Demi will be in NYC Monday for the FOX Up Fronts to announce her joining the show. Demi is scheduled to tour this summer, but our sources say her "X Factor" schedule shouldn't interfere with her touring. Lovato should have company tomorrow ... as TMZ previously reported, our sources say Britney Spears will be in NYC to announce she's joining the show as well."

Spawn People: "Thor's a dad! Chris Hemsworth, who flexes his superhero muscles in The Avengers, and his actress wife Elsa Pataky welcomed a baby girl on Friday. They named their first child India. "We love the country and love the name," Hemsworth, 28, tells USA Today. Hemsworth, who also stars in the upcoming Snow White and the Huntsman, and Pataky, 35, who appeared in Fast Five, tied the knot in 2010. When she announced her pregnancy, the Spanish beauty had some other news – for Hemsworth. – saying he'd better brush up on his language skills. “I’m only going to speak to the baby in Spanish," she said in an interview in Hola! magazine. "I already told my husband, ‘Get ready fast with Spanish because, if not, you’re not going to be able to understand what we say."

Goodbye, Horatio Cane Deadline: Horatio Caine is taking off his shades for good– CBS just confirmed that indeed, CSI: Miami will not be back next season. This is the first series from the CSI franchise to get off the air. Despite strong international sales and a fresh off-network syndication deal with AMC that would’ve covered an 11th season, CSI: Miami was the more expensive of the two spinoffs. Here is a statement from the network: “CSI: Miami” leaves an amazing television legacy – a signature look and style, global popularity and as a key player in CBS’s rise to the top over the past decade.  We thank all the producers – led by Jerry Bruckheimer, Jonathan Littman and Ann Donahue — and its talented cast, led by David Caruso, for 10 outstanding seasons.  Viewers around the world will continue to enjoy rebroadcasts of “CSI: Miami” in syndication and on key digital platforms for many years to come.”

Russell Brand belatedly unfollows ex Us: "Looks like Russell Brand may be doing some virtual spring cleaning. Earlier this week, the British comedian, 36, finally unfollowed his soon-to-be ex-wife Katy Perry on Twitter. The pair - who reached a divorce settlement in early February - split ways just before the holidays. (The "Firework" singer, 28, unfollowed her estranged husband almost immediately after their split). Perry and Brand - who wed in October 2010 in a lavish ceremony in India - had been married a little over a year when the actor first initiated divorce proceedings by filing papers with the Los Angeles Superior Court in December 2011. Though he boasts over 4.6 million followers of his own, Brand's latest "unfollow" brings the total number of Twitter users he keeps up with to 77. Scorsese hires Jonah Hill Deadline: "After getting an Oscar nomination playing Brad Pitt’s wing man in Moneyball, Jonah Hill has just been set to star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio in The Wolf Of Wall Street, the Martin Scorsese-directed adaptation of the Jordan Belfort memoir. Boardwalk Empire creator Terence Winter wrote the script. The film chronicles Belfort’s dramatic rise and fall on Wall Street, along with his hard-partying lifestyle and tumultuous personal life, which included drug and alcohol addiction. Hill will play his close friend, who becomes Belfort’s business partner when the charismatic stock broker persuades him to quit his job in the furniture business to jump into the lucrative, volatile world of stocks."

Rihanna missed SNL dress rehearsal: "Rihanna was a no-show for her final rehearsal for "Saturday Night Live" - which did not sit well with the show's producers, including head man Lorne Michaels ... TMZ has learned. According to our sources, RiRi called in sick for the dress rehearsal, which is done live in front of a studio audience right before the actual show. We're told Michaels takes dress rehearsals very seriously and was quite upset when Rihanna bailed at the last minute. Our sources say that in her place, Rihanna's choreographer danced to her songs. When Rihanna showed up later looking just fine, we're told the staff was shocked ... and felt she didn't appear sick enough to have missed the dress rehearsal ... though no one from the show called her on it ... We're told producers can't even remember the last time someone has skipped the dress rehearsal. Sources close to Rihanna tell TMZ she went through every rehearsal except the dress rehearsal (which she was in the building for) because she just felt too ill to do it. Hitched "Actress Julie Benz married Rich Orosco on Saturday, her rep confirms to People. The couple tied the knot at 6 p.m. at the historic John Sowden house in the Los Feliz neighborhood of Los Angeles. The wedding featured a Mexican theme, in a nod to Cinco de Mayo and to the groom, a marketing executive, who is of Mexican heritage. The house itself is known as the Jaws House, given that its striking facade, which also has been compared to a Mayan temple, looks like the gaping open mouth of a great white shark. Engaged since last June, the former Dexter star, 40, met Orosco five years ago, her rep confirmed to People at the time the engagement was announced."

The couple have much to celebrate beyond their four-year anniversary, which falls on Monday. Along with enjoying nearly 1-year-old twins, Cannon appears to be on the mend from frightening health problems, including kidney disease."

Julianne Moore to play Carrie's mom? Deadline: "It isn’t a big surprise, but MGM has formally offered Julianne Moore the nightmarish religious fanatic mother in the Kimberly Peirce-directed remake of the 1976 film Carrie. Chloe Moretz is already set to play the title character, a young woman whose devastating telepathic powers rear up when she reaches puberty. Kevin Misher is producing. Moore’s name has been in the mix for a while, but at the time MGM maintained it was talking to numerous actresses. Now, they’ve sent Moore the script and a pay or play offer to play Margaret White, the role that Piper Laurie rode to an Oscar nomination. The film is based on the 1974 Stephen King novel that was first filmed by director Brian De Palma. Sissy Spacek played Carrie White, and both she and Laurie got Oscar noms."

Patrick Dempsey to the rescue Us: "Move over Ryan Gosling, there's a new hero in town named McDreamy! Grey's Anatomy star Patrick Dempsey rescued a teenage driver Tuesday evening after crashed his car into the actor's front yard of his Malibu home, a source confirms to Us Weekly. According to TMZ, the driver lost control of his car and overturned it multiple times before crashing into Dempsey's front yard. The source tells Us that Dempsey rushed to the car (a Mustang) with a first aid kit and fire extinguisher in hand. The 46-year-old actor freed the boy from the car before calling 911 and police arrived. No serious injuries were sustained."

Action flick for Kristen Stewart Coming Soon: "Kristen Stewart has lined up a leading role in the action film Cali, Variety reports. 30 Minutes of Less screenwriter Michael Diliberti is providing the screenplay, which will feature Stewart as Mya, a young woman who, with her boyfriend, Chris, fakes her own death as part of a snuff film and runs away. Years later, she has to return to the San Fernando valley in an effort to save her sisters. There's no director currently attached, but the plan is to shoot this summer."

Hitched People: "Carey Mulligan and Mumford & Sons frontman Marcus Mumford are married. The couple tied the knot on a farm in Somerset, England, in front of approximately 200 guests, including family and friends, according to reports. Sienna Miller, Jake Gyllenhaal and Colin Firth were among the guests, the Daily Mail reports. Mulligan, 26, and Mumford, 25, were childhood pen pals in London and reconnected as adults. The couple, who have been linked since 2011, became engaged in August. They have been rarely spotted together and have stayed mum about their relationship, but a source told the Sun in February that they decided to wed in Britain because "it's where both of their families are from."

Russell's Ark Coming Soon: "Paramount Pictures and New Regency Productions jointly announced today that Academy Award-winner Russell Crowe has been cast as Noah in Academy Award-nominated director Darren Aronofsky's feature film of the same name. Paramount will release the film on March 28, 2014. Said Aronofsky, "I'd like to thank Paramount and Regency for backing my team's work to breathe new life into the biblical epic. I rejoice that Russell Crowe will be by my side on this adventure. It's his immense talent that helps me to sleep at night. I look forward to being wowed by him every day." Noah is a close adaptation of the Biblical story of Noah's Ark. In a world ravaged by human sin, Noah is given a divine mission: to build an Ark to save creation from the coming flood. The screenplay was written by Aronofsky and Ari Handel and revised by Academy Award®-nominated screenwriter John Logan (Gladiator, Hugo)."

Spawn Us: "Don't pop the champagne for Jessica Simpson just yet. "To everyone who keeps congratulating me on the birth of my baby girl...I'm still pregnant!! Don't believe what you read ladies and gents," the star wrote on Twitter Saturday morning. But that doesn't mean Simpson, 31, isn't as ready as the rest of the world to celebrate. The "Sweet Caroline" and "Cherry, Cherry" crooner, 71, announced his engagement on Twitter last September. "Good news coming from sunny LA/ and you're the first I want to tell/ Katie & I just got engaged/ and I hope you wish us well," he wrote at the time. He also posted a photo of his bride-to-be with the words, "I'm lovestruck." It's the first marriage for McNeil, 42, and the third marriage for Diamond, who kicks off a U.S. summer tour on June 1."

Matthew Perry pilot gets pick-up THR: "NBC has given its first pilot order for the 2012-13 season, bringing former Friends star Matthew Perry back to the network that helped make him a star. The struggling network has ordered to series Go On, a single-camera project from Friends and Joey writer Scott Silveri and Universal Television. Todd Holland will executive produce and direct the pilot. Go On centers on an irreverent yet charming sportscaster (Perry) who tries to move on from loss and finds solace from the members of his mandatory group-therapy sessions. Transformers' Julie White will play Anne, a woman stuck in the anger stage of grief; Suzy Nakamura co-stars."

Really, Mila Kunis? Are you serious? Well, I suppose you both starred in one of those interchangeable Friends-who-boink-each-other movies, so you do have something in common "Ashton Kutcher has rebounded (again) after the breakup of his marriage to Demi Moore - this time, with his former That 70's Show co-star Mila Kunis! X17 photographers have spotted the actors together on multiple occasions, recently. Ashton and Mila have even spent the night at each others' houses! Today we saw the two furniture shopping and grabbing a sushi dinner together tonight at Asanebo in Studio city before they returned to Ashton's new mega-mansion in the Hollywood Hills. Our photographer tells us the couple looked more than cozy together inside the restaurant: "Ashton was touching Mila's hand and Mila was all dressed up. She looked hot; this was definitely more than a dinner between friends - this was a full-on date!" Mila was wearing skin-tight skinny jeans and super-high heels, while Ashton was in his uniform - a baseball cap and sweater. Ashton chauffeured, with Mila in the back seat."

Awwww ... Us: "Lea Michele was singing her boyfriend's praises at the Coachella Music Festival. The Glee actress, 25, arrived solo at the Lacoste L!VE desert pool party in Thermal, Calif. Saturday, a partygoer tells Us Weekly. She chatted with fashion designer Lauren Conrad, 26, "for at least half an hour" before hanging out with Diane Kruger, 35, and Joshua Jackson, 33, in their cabana. Her boyfriend and costar Cory Monteith, 29, arrived shortly after. "I just saw a really hot 6-foot-3 Canadian with a tribal arm band hanging by the pool," Michele tweeted. "So happy." When Monteith found Michele in Kruger's cabana, "he tapped her on the shoulder and she was so excited to see him," the partygoer says. "She threw her arms around him and they hugged and kissed on the lips." Once they retreated to their own cabana, the Glee costars continued their flirt-a-thon. Courtney Love apologizes to daughter People: "Courtney Love is reaching out to her daughter Frances Bean Cobain – on Twitter. Love previously angered her daughter by claiming on the social media site that Kurt Cobain's former bandmate Dave Grohl "hit on" Frances Bean, but now Love says she regrets spreading the rumor, which was denied by both Grohl and Frances. "Bean, sorry I believed the gossip," Love tweeted early Saturday. "Mommy loves you." Frances angrily answered her mom's earlier accusations on Thursday saying, "While I'm generally silent on the affairs of my biological mother, her recent tirade has taken a gross turn. I have never been approached by Dave Grohl in more than a platonic way. I'm in a monogamous relationship and very happy." Grohl also said the claims were "offensive and absolutely untrue." Frances is engaged to Isaiah Silva, frontman of the rock band the Rambles."

Affleck and Timberlake to co-star in gambling movie THR: "Ben Affleck and Justin Timberlake are set to star in Runner, Runner for New Regency. Justin Timberlake Joining Clint Eastwood, Amy Adams in Baseball DramaThe Lincoln Lawyer helmer Brad Furman is on board to direct the thriller, which takes place in the world of online gambling. While Timberlake's deal is closed, Affleck is in final negotiations. Screenwriters Brian Koppelman and David Levien, whose 1998 thriller Rounders involved high-stakes backroom poker, wrote the screenplay. Production is scheduled to begin this summer in Puerto Rico."

He's so upset he's been eating nothing but virgin blood ever since "Marc Anthony held out hope for a reconciliation with Jennifer Lopez, but decided to file for divorce when she told him ... she's madly in love with BF Casper Smart ... TMZ has learned. TMZ broke the story ... Marc filed for divorce Monday - nine months after the couple announced they were splitting. But sources extremely close to Marc tell us, he didn't make the decision on his own - he had a heart-to-heart with J.Lo a few weeks back to see if she really, truly wanted to end the marriage. We're told he said he wanted to give the marriage another try, but Jennifer confessed ... she was deeply in love with Casper ... and wanted to pursue that relationship. We're told Marc was blindsided ... he had not idea things were so serious - and he was hurt."

Tina Fey gets an intern Coming Soon: "Nancy Meyers will write and direct the Paramount Pictures comedy The Intern with Tina Fey set to star, Deadline reports. The plot sees Fey starring as the founder of a successful company who, as part of a new program, takes in a senior citizen to be her intern. The news arrives less than 24 hours after word broke that 20th Century Fox is planning a similarly-titled comedy, The Intership. Whether one project will cause the other to change its title remains to be seen. To be produced by Scott Rudin, The Intern is planned to go into production early next year."

Sad news People: "Robin Gibb of the iconic group the Bee Gees is in grave condition. "Sadly the reports are true that Robin has contracted pneumonia and is in a coma," reads a statement on his website. "We are all hoping and praying that he will pull through." The singer's son Robin-John, told the Daily Mail, "My dad has had a hard recovery from cancer. When you get rid of the cancer a lot of periphery problems can occur. This is so sad." In October 2011, the singer, who is 62, fell ill with intestinal problems. He was later diagnosed with liver and colon cancer, but had made a recovery. On Friday, however, it was reported that he'd been hospitalized again."

More sads Us: "Ryan O'Neal has a brave battle ahead of him. "Recently I was diagnosed with Stage 4 Prostate Cancer," the Paper Moon actor tells Us Weekly in a statement. "Although I was shocked and stunned by the news, I feel fortunate that it was detected early and according to my extraordinary team of doctors the prognosis is positive for a full recovery." O'Neal, 70, adds: "I am deeply grateful for the support of my friends and family during this time, and I urge everyone to get regular check-ups, as early detection is the best defense against this horrible disease that has afflicted so many." In March 1998, the actor announced he was diagnosed with chronic myelogenous leukemia, which causes bone marrow to produce too many white blood cells. He has been in remission since 2006."

True love waits "Kim Kardashian and Kanye West have been dating for roughly two weeks, but it's a relationship 8 years in the making ... TMZ has learned. According to our sources, the two have been friends since 2004 - and have flirted on-and-off - but the timing was never right to pursue a relationship ... until now. We're told both sides always felt a spark, but they NEVER acted inappropriately while Kanye was with Amber Rose ... or while Kim was with Kris Humphries. In fact, we're told Kim was recently kicking around the idea of reconciling with Reggie Bush ... but after hanging out with him in Miami a few weeks ago, decided the two weren't compatible anymore. Kim finally reconnected with Kanye in Paris when she attended his fashion show ... and shortly after that, both sides decided to "give dating a shot." And so far, we're told Kim has been super-impressed with the rapper ... who pulled one hell of a surprise when they hit up FAO Schwarz in NYC a few days ago. Sources say Kanye made some calls and had an entire floor of the toy store roped off so they could get a private lesson from a guy who taught them how to play "Chopsticks" on the over-sized piano featured in the movie "Big."

Yes, that's not weird at all Us: "Jason Trawick will soon become Britney Spears' husband and now he hopes to also take on a legal role in her life as well. E! News reports that Trawick, 40, has filed papers to petition to be added by a California court as one of the singer's conservators. If his petition is approved, Trawick - who began dating Spears, 30, in 2009 - will have control over her well-being, while her father, Jamie, will retain full control over her finances. Jamie Spears has held legal control over his songbird daughter and her millions since 2008."

Nicole Kidman to play Grace Kelly? Coming Soon: "The project officially announced earlier this year after appearing on the 2011 "Black List" of unproduced screenplays, the Grace Kelly biopic, Grace of Monaco, may have found its leading lady in Nicole Kidman. Variety has word that the actress is in discussions to headline the Olivier Dahan film. Written by Arash Amel, Grace of Monaco was listed with the following logline: Grace Kelly, age 33 and having given up her acting career to focus on being a full time princess, uses her political maneuvering behind the scenes to save Monaco while French Leader Charles de Gaulle and Monaco’s Prince Rainier III are at odds over the princi¬pality’s standing as a tax haven."

Splitsville "Nearly three months after announcing their separation following almost seven years of marriage, Heidi Klum has made it official and filed for divorce from Seal, People has learned. A petition, which lists irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split, was filed Friday afternoon in Los Angeles Superior Court, People confirms. Klum is seeking joint legal custody, but primary physical custody of their four children – Leni, 7½, Henry, 6½, Johan, 5, and Lou, 2 – with visitation rights for Seal. The model is also requesting to have her maiden name restored. She legally changed it to Seal's last name, Samuel, though professionally she continued to use Klum."

And so the publicity tour for Men in Black 3 begins People: "Despite reports of trouble in their marriage, Will Smith and Jada Pinkett Smith were caught smooching Friday in Philadelphia – on the Jumbotron! Will, 43, and Jada, 40, were "couply and cuddly," says fellow spectator Becky Haring, 22, of Birdsboro, Pa., who sat a few rows away from the famous pair at the Philadelphia 76ers-Miami Heat game Friday night. "They were having a good time," she says. Philadelphia-native Smith danced during the game (even though his team lost 84-78) and at one point planted a wet one on his wife for the "kiss cam." The night out was a family affair for the basketball-loving couple, who posed courtside with kids Willow, 11, and Jaden, 13. Another attendee, Tom Kline, who was sitting in the VIP section not far from the Smiths, tells People that they arrived at half time. "Will and Jada were introduced to the crow to a loud cheer," he says. "She affectionately put her head on his shoulder and he affectionately touched her as they smiled."

Lindsay Lohan stays home "Lindsay Lohan is done gambling with her freedom -- after another bout with trouble just this week, she is following the advice of her closest friends and putting herself on lockdown until her probation is up in two weeks ... TMZ has learned. Although she claims she did nothing wrong, Lindsay once again found herself in the news this week for all the wrong reasons ... when a clubgoer claimed LiLo hit him with her car in Hollywood early Thursday morning. According to our sources, the latest incident prompted people close to Lindsay to beg her to stop going out at night until her probation is over. We're told Lindsay agreed and will now only leave her house when she really has to ... like for her court ordered community service at the morgue. Her probation is scheduled to end March 29."

Rosie's show is cancelled EW: "Bye, bye Rosie. OWN announced it will cease production on Rosie O’Donnell’s daily talk show after five months on the air. The final episode will air March 30. “I thank Rosie from the bottom of my heart for joining me on this journey,” said Oprah Winfrey in a statement. “As I have learned in the last 15 months, a new network launch is always a challenge and ratings grow over time as you continue to gather an audience. I’m grateful to Rosie and the dedicated Rosie Show team for giving it their all.” The Rosie Show, which is taped in Oprah’s old Chicago studio, will tape its last installment March 20. It premiered back in October to mixed reviews (EW’s Ken Tucker called the talker a “happy mess”) but had trouble finding an audience. After the premiere (which garnered about 500,000 viewers), it lost nearly half its audience within three days, but eventually held steady with around 230,000 viewers. In its time on air, however, it had fair success garnering buzz, with guests like Chelsea Handler, who talked about getting an abortion as a teen, and Mariah Carey, who debuted her post-twin body."

Russell Brand could be charged with felony  "Russell Brand claims he was provoked by the paparazzi last Monday when he grabbed a photog's cell phone and threw it through a window - and he's going to use provocation to fight any charge that might be filed against him ... sources close to Brand tell TMZ. Brand was arrested Thursday for a felony, since the value of the window and the iPhone exceeded the $500 minimum for the crime. Brand has hired a high-powered New Orleans lawyer - Robert Glass. We're told if Brand is officially charged with the felony, Glass will argue that the damages were less than $500 - Russell paid $240 to fix the window, and we're told Russell will claim damage to the iPhone was minor. Brand is free on $5,000 bond."

Spawn 'Neve Campbell is pregnant! The Scream star, 38, is expecting her first child with actor JJ Feild later this year, her rep confirms to People exclusively. “They are thrilled,” the rep tells People of the couple. Campbell, who played Julia on Party of Five and Sydney in the Scream series, can next be seen in Sworn to Silence, a Lifetime movie that she also executive produced. Feild, 33, starred in Captain America: The First Avenger, and will next be seen in Austenland. He’s also just begun production on Not Safe For Work."

Olivier Martinez confirms engagement to Halle Berry. Perhaps he has  a restaurant and a movie called Dark Tide to promote. Why, yes, he does People: "Finally making the news official, French actor Olivier Martinez confirms reports from January that he's engaged to Halle Berry. "Yes, of course it's true," he told The Miami Herald while promoting his new South Beach restaurant Villa Azur. Contrary to reports the actress had a Gurhan-designed ring, Berry's emerald engagement bling was actually designed by Robert Mazlo of Paris, whom Martinez called "a real artist" who has been making jewelry for "kings and queens for many centuries." The Oscar-winning actress, 45, costars with Martinez, 46, in the film Dark Tide. They soon became an item off-screen.  Berry has been married twice before – to baseball player David Justice in the early 1990s, and to singer Eric Benét in the early 2000s – and has daughter Nahla, who turns 4 this month, with Gabriel Aubrey."

Goodbye, Brown "Whitney Houston's daughter Bobbi Kristina Brown can't stand her name ... because of its association with her father Bobby Brown - and now, TMZ has learned, she wants to change it all together. Bobbi Kristina is telling friends ... she's wanted to change her name for years - ever since her parents split - but Whitney wouldn't let her. Now that Whitney's gone, we're told the 19-year-old feels untethered - and wants to finally change her name completely ... making it simply "Kristina Houston." We're told Bobbi has made the decision with a sober mind and is in a "better place" than she's been in a while. It's unclear when she plans to make the change official."

Splitsville "Dennis Quaid's wife has filed for divorce seeking to end her nearly eight-year union with the Hollywood star, E! News can confirm. "We can confirm that Kimberly Quaid has filed for divorce. Contrary to what has been reported, a satisfactory settlement is being worked out for both parties," reps for Quaid tell E! News. What's more, a Travis County court clerk in Austin, Texas (where Kimberly is from originally) confirms that they do have a divorce filed on March 2 by a B.K. v W.D. While the court clerk could not confirm the initials stood for Kimberly Buffington and William Dennis (Quaid's full name is Dennis William Quaid), the divorce petition filed obtained by E! News fits the couple to a 'T." Kimberly Buffington-Quaid cited good ol' irreconcilable differences as the reason for the split and is demanding their community assets be fairly divided and she be given spousal support and attorney fees. "The marriage has become insupportable because of discord or conflict of personalities…that destroys the legitimate ends of the marriage relationship and prevents any reasonable expectation of reconciliation," read court docs."

Michael Madsen arrested (surprisingly not for crimes against hair or impersonating Johnny Rotten) People: "Michael Madsen, who appeared in Quentin Tarantino's Kill Bill and Reservoir Dogs, was arrested following a fight with his teenage son. Madsen, 54, the brother of actress Virginia Madsen, was booked at a Los Angeles County Sheriff's station on a felony charge of child endangerment with cruelty to a child and released on $100,000 bail. He was arrested Friday afternoon at his Malibu home by deputies responding to a family disturbance call. Detectives from the Special Victims Bureau were following up on allegations the actor was intoxicated and fighting with his son, who didn't require medical attention, according to the Sheriff's Department. Madsen's attorney Perry Wander tells TMZ, which first reported the arrest, that Madsen "found his son smoking pot and they got in an argument when he tried to take it away. It's a family matter and Michael asks that his families privacy be respected."

Tom Cruise better get some taller lifts Coming Soon: "Warner Bros. is eyeing Tom Cruise to headline Clint Eastwood's upcoming remake of A Star is Born. Variety is reporting the rumor, suggesting that the Mission: Impossible star would appear opposite the previously announced Beyoncé. Eastwood's version will mark the fourth big-screen iteration of the film. William A. Wellman directed the 1937 original with Janet Gaynor and Fredric March. The 1954 George Cukor is probably the best known, starring Judy Garland and James Mason. 1976 saw Frank Pierson tackle an updated version with Barbra Streisand and Kris Kristofferson. Cruise will appear in theaters later this year in Adam Shankman's Broadway musical adaptation Rock of Ages."

There's life in the old boy yet Us: "Leap Day 2012 was a jolly holiday indeed for Dick Van Dyke! The veteran actor and perfomer, 86, wed 40-year-old girlfriend, makeup artist Arlene Silver, on Feb. 29, they tell RumorFix.com. The star of Diagnosis Murder and Mary Poppins said he met Silver at the SAG Awards six years ago and "was bowled over by her beauty," he told the site. He then hired Silver to be his personal makeup artist - which led to a friendship. "The last couple of years we kind of fell in love ... She keeps up with me." Van Dyke divorced first wife Margie Willett in 1984 after over three decades of marriage and four children together; he had a longterm partnership with Michelle Triola until her death in 2009. His Feb. 29 wedding to Silver was "kinda on the spur of the moment," the star explained. "We just decided Leap Day would be the best time to do it."

Jennifer Aniston is so happy she may explode People: "She made have initially made her mark playing New Yorker Rachel Green on Friends, but that doesn't mean the Big Apple was the right place for Jennifer Aniston. "We tried New York," the Wanderlust star, referring to herself and Justin Theroux, said Friday on Australian radio's The Kylie and Jackie O Show in Sydney, but "it felt like I was [living] in a fishbowl." And while, "Justin still has an apartment there … It was a little rough with the paparazzi. It didn't feel like the New York I grew up in and knew," notes Aniston, 43, who now calls L.A. home. As a result, Aniston's current happiness level is at "10-plus," she says, and her Zen approach to life is also a contributing factor. "You have a more relaxed sense of the world and life," she explains, "and you realize there's nothing to be taken too seriously besides doing your work and being a really good person."

Oprah gets interview with Whitney's daughter THR: "Oprah Winfrey still has it. She has snagged an exclusive interview with the late Whitney Houston and Bobby Brown’s daughter, Bobbi Kristina Brown, for Oprah’s Next Chapter airing Sunday, March 11 at 9 p.m. In addition to Bobbi Kristina, Winfrey will speak to Houston’s sister-in-law and manager Patricia Houston, and brother Gary Houston. According to a release from the network, “Bobbi Kristina shares personal memories of her mom and how she would like the iconic superstar to be remembered. The family also addresses the rumors and speculation surrounding Houston’s death.”

Zachary Quinto returns to AHS Coming Soon: "Zachary Quinto is back for "American Horror Story" season 2, says Deadline. This confirmation comes on the heels of the news that Jessica Lange will return, however, as another character. Like Lange, Quinto will be slipping into a new role. He'll be one of the show's male leads next season, furthermore, a nemesis to Lange's character.  Quinto and Lange both chewed the scenery in equal measures in "American Horror Story's" first season. We can't wait to see what Ryan Murphy and Brad Falchuk do this time. Season 2 will pick up on the East Coast and tell an entirely different story ... EW adds that Evan Peters ("Tate"), Sarah Paulson ("Billie Dean Howard") and Lily Rabe ("Nora Montgomery") are all returning for the second season ... once again, as new characters."

Alex O'Loughlin goes to rehab Deadline: "Hawaii’s Five-0 task force will be without its leader for a little while. Hawaii Five-0 star Alex O’Loughlin will miss at least one episode of the CBS crime drama for a stint in rehab. “Alex is taking a short break from Hawaii Five-0 to receive supervised treatment for prescription pain medication due to a recent shoulder injury,” a rep for the actor said in a statement. The series, which is ahead of schedule, is now shooting episode 20, which coincidentally focuses heavily on Masi Oka’s character, and O’Loughlin didn’t have many scenes. After the episode wraps, the show will take a short break, after which production will proceed as planned, with Hawaii completing its 23-episode Season 2 order. “We respect and support Alex’s decision,” CBS Studios, which produces the series, said. “Everyone at CBS Television Studios and Hawaii Five-0 wishes him well and we look forward to his return.”

Nekkid pictures "Busy day [Sunday] in the world of naked photo leaks ... just hours after Olivia Munn's allegedly naked body hit the web, a set of pics has surfaced online showing what appears to be a topless Christina Hendricks ... but Hendricks' rep insists, the breasts aren't hers. Christina's rep tells TMZ, the "Mad Men" star's phone WAS indeed hacked recently ... and multiple self-shots were stolen - including several showing a busty Hendricks barely dressed, without make-up, presumably at home. But the rep insists, the one topless picture - purportedly showing the actress' bare ample bosom - is NOT Christina. It's an impostor. Christina's rep tells TMZ, she doesn't know who hacked her phone - but the proper authorities have been notified and an investigation is underway."

Ashton has visited Demi "Ashton Kutcher hasn't spoken publicly about estranged wife Demi Moore since her health crisis began in January – but he has seen her, a source tells People. The Two and a Half Men star has visited since her hospital stay, but "they are not getting back together," according to the source. He went because "he knew it was important to her daughters," says the source. Moore has three girls with ex-husband Bruce Willis. Daughter Rumer, 23, remains especially close with Kutcher despite his split from Moore. "

Splitsville Radaronline: "She’s not going to be tying the knot any time soon but she certainly isn’t letting that get her down! The Big Bang Theory star Kaley Cuoco announced her engagement to Josh ‘Lazie’ Resnik in October but she exclusively told Entertainment Tonight that the relationship is over. When asked if footage of her co-star Kunal Nayyar’s wedding inspired her for her own nuptials, she replied, “I’m not engaged anymore, so no.” Oops! However, Kaley seemed hopeful for the future, saying: “But in general, yes. For my future wedding, yes!”



Jesse Spencer gets a new job Deadline: "House co-star Jesse Spencer is looking to stay in primetime as the lead of another drama series. Spencer, who has played Dr. Robert Chase on the Fox medical drama House for the past 8 seasons, is set to star in the NBC drama pilot Chicago Fire. On Wolf Films and Universal TV’s action-driven drama about the complex and heroic men and women of the Chicago Fire Department, Spencer will play the lead, Matthew Casey, a firefighter at Firehouse 55, a natural leader who is in his element when on a rescue or putting out a fire but in his personal life, he is grappling with a recent separation from his wife. Also cast in the pilot is Charlie Barnett as Peter Mills, a young candidate firefighter fresh from the Academy. Spencer and Barnett join previously cast Eamonn Walker, David Eigenberg, Monica Raymund, Taylor Kinney."

These stars will be dancing "TMZ has learned the secret identities of THREE new celebrity contestants on the upcoming season of "Dancing with the Stars" - most interesting ... Heather Locklear's ex and "Melrose Place" actor Jack Wagner. You'll recall Jack and Heather got into an epic fight in December that triggered a 911 call. Sources connected with the production tell TMZ, Sherri Shepherd from "The View" will also be competing in the upcoming season ... which kicks off next month. As for the third - that would be "Little House on the Prairie" star Melissa Gilbert, who was rumored to be on last season ... but that deal fell through."

Walking Dead casts The Governor Coming Soon: "David Morrisey has landed a key role in the upcoming third season of AMC's "The Walking Dead", AMC has announced. He'll play The Governor, a character who made his debut in issue 27 of the original Image comic book series. His real name Brian Blake, The Governor is the leader of Woodbury, a small settlement of survivors. He becomes the chief antagonist for Rick Grimes (Andrew Lincoln) and his group. The Governor will appear in "The Walking Dead" season three, a 16-episode order from AMC, which begins production this spring in Atlanta ... Along with his work in television, Morrissey is also known for his leading roles in feature films such as The Reaping, The Other Boleyn Girl, Centurion, The Water Horse, Nowhere Boy and Blitz."

Why Seal won't stop talking People: "Seal has been very candid about the demise of his marriage to Heidi Klum – and now he's defending his decision to speak so openly about the subject. "When you publicize your marriage as much as our marriage was publicized, when you renew wedding vows, when you do all those things, what you are saying to people is ... you're giving people a picture of an ideal relationship that people aspire to," the singer said on the Fifi and Jules radio show in Australia, where he's working on that country's version of The Voice and performing his "Soul 2" tour. Seal, who turned 49 last weekend, says that he felt an obligation to give the public a window into why his marriage ended because he and Klum had been so open about their relationship in happier times. "When it goes south, you can't all of a sudden take the philosophy of a monk and decide to go for a vow of silence. It doesn't really work like that," he said. "I respect my wife's decision not to talk about that, but I felt that people at least deserved some kind of explanation why the picture of the ideal wasn't what they thought it was."
