Longest name in the world

A British woman has changed her name to the record-breaking mouthful seen below in order to raise money for charity. Which is wonderful, of course, except for the fact that you know there will be celebrity babies whose parents are going to take one look at this and saddle them with, "Keep Going Captain," "Evolution" or "Neon Sheep."

Dawn McManus decided to change her name after she set up a children's charity - Red Dreams - following the sad death of her son Kyle. She asked people to donate to the charity and If the target was broken, Dawn would then change her name to honour those who the charity had helped since it was established in 2008. Dawn, who has been praised locally for her efforts in positively engaging young people, said: “I decided to change my name with The Legal Deed Poll Service to raise further awareness for the charity and maintain the necessary funding we need to make Red Dreams a success. "Myself and my husband both gave up our jobs to pursue this full time for the good on the community, but there is only so much we can do before we need financial support in the form of charitable donations.”

Best yodeller surrounded by chickens ever. Today

So, in the last post I said that today seemed a bit slow in terms of celebrity news. This was obviously before I knew about the existence of Takeo Ischi, who is the hottest extreme yodeller and chicken fancier I've ever laid eyes on. The day just took a turn for excitement. The Avengers: the questionable accessories

Just one more week to go before the premiere and I know what you're thinking: "I'm so sick and tired of hearing and reading about The Avengers and feeling like I've already seen it. OMG! What could I do to show the world my excitement?" Good question. You should, of course, get yourself over to Etsy, where there is a great many wondrous Avengers-related products for sale.

Movie 43 is not like other movies

Well, it's like one of those romantic movies named for holidays in that it stars EVERYBODY, but it's also not like that at all in that there's a lot of talk about bodily functions and robots that can chew off boy parts. I want to see this movie so bad. What is this? And when will it be available? Oh, apparently it was supposed to be released in 2011 and now it's supposed to be released in 2013. Mrs. Beckham designs a car

You already know that you can't afford Mrs. Beckham's dresses, much less fit into them because you're not a size -2. But now there's good news, because you also cannot afford Mrs. Beckham's new car. Which is a real shame because it has mohair in it. And picking up groceries without mohair is like going to the prom without rabid lemurs.

Reuters has this: "British fashion designer Victoria Beckham had her soccer-superstar husband "David in mind" when helping create a new special edition of Range Rover's off-road vehicle, the "Evoque". "I've stayed very true to myself. I've designed a car that I want to drive, a car that I think David wants to drive," the former Spice Girl told Reuters in an interview in Beijing, where she was promoting the vehicle, late on Sunday. "I think that though women will drive this car, it has a masculine edge. I think it's very cool," she added. Beckham, who admitted she had never done a project like this before, said she had learned "an enormous amount." "And the bottom line is, would I drive this car, like when I'm designing a dress, would I wear this dress? I love what I do. I consider myself so blessed to do a job that I love and this has been a great experience for me," said Beckham, wearing a sleeveless striped dress from her own collection. She said she searched for inspiration in many places. "I did a lot of research and not just with cars, old and new, but boats, planes, movie stars, different locations," she said. "It would be hard to pinpoint exactly where the inspiration came from. It's just what I like, that's the bottom line. I don't try to be too technical about it ... It's what feels real to me." The special edition "Evoque" features exclusive, hand-finished matt paint, the first for a Land Rover-type vehicle. The vehicle also has rose gold accents on the grille and gloss black forged alloy wheels. Inside, the four-seat coupe includes vintage-inspired leather seats, rose gold-plated accents and features trimmings of black lacquer, textured aluminum and mohair. In addition, the vehicle has bespoke luxury accessories, such as a four-piece leather luggage set and a hand-sewn leather wallet for the owner's manual signed by (Victoria) Beckham. The special edition "Evoque" costs 80,000 pounds ($129,000), twice the cost of a regular model. Only 200 will be made, the first of which will be rolled out in China as early as October."

'3 Second Rule' is the most terrible song ever. Today

Not as terrible perhaps as the accompanying video. Yes, just as terrible. And together the song and the video achieves a new and exquisite level of terribleness that can only be cured by smashing random heirlooms, yelling at babies and kicking squirrels.

Double Take is the worst thing ever. Today

Reasons it's the worst: 1) Somehow manages to be 374 times worse than the whole Rebecca Black thing. 2) It just is. 3) These girls are, in fact, not hot at all, so the whole song is a total lie. I hate lies.

Want to rent Batman's sex cave?

Don't answer that. I don't really want to know. But if you are so inclined, the suite in a Taiwan hotel is yours for three hours for $50. At least according to Nerd Approved  - although that sounds kinda cheap, seeing as it looks pretty clean, all things considered. And it's all the way, far away in Taiwan. Also: I have, of course, no idea what the writing on the photos say, so if it's icky or dirty or sweary, please don't yell at me.
