Broadway World thinks so: "Anne Hathaway was last associated with Les Miserable when she belted out her own version of "Own My Own" at February's Oscar ceremony to past host Hugh Jackman. Now, BroadwayWorld.com's reliable sources tell us that at Jackman's pushing, she is now set to take on the role of Fantine in the eagerly anticipated film version of the epic musical. Last week, Hollywood site Deadline.com reported that filming for Woverine 2, the sequel to the successful X Men franchise starring Hugh Jackman, may be pushed back to the spring of 2012 due to location scouting issues. This means that Jackman will shoot the Les Miserables film, in which he'll be playing Jean Valjean, first, beginning in February of 2012. The film will be shot in the UK. According to itsonthegrid, additional actors being courted for the film have included Russell Crowe for Javert, Geoffrey Rush for Thenardier, Helena Bonaham Carter for Madame Thenardier, Hayden Panettiere, Miranda Cosgrove, Lucy Hale, and Emma Watson for the roles of Eponine and Cosette, and Amy Adams and Rebecca Hall for Fantine."

My immediate reaction to this is 1) What? 2) Erm ... 3) I'm not ... there's a ... what? 4) If there's an over-whelming and compelling reason to even consider that kind of product, should you not, perhaps, be seeing a doctor? 5) Way to go, ad executives, reducing the great Cleopatra to a douche seller. Put that bitch in her place. 6) Are you serious? 7) What? 8) I believe that in the middle-ages, the rotting teeth, the lice, the gangrene, the fleas and the open festering sores might have been a somewhat greater concern than the cleanliness of anyone's privates. 9) Women: dirty, dirty people with dirty parts. So much dirtier than other people. 10) What?
Good morning and welcome to Art Appreciation class. Today we will be taking a look at the intriguing installation "Lindsay Lounging" from Italian Vanity Fair. While you may be excused for thinking that Lindsay Lohan is a rough-looking 49-year-old cast member on Real Housewives of Ed Hardy's Dreams, she is in fact a 25-year-old former actress trying to rehabilitate her image. She choses to emphasize her youth by lounging with a lecherous teddy bear and a golden skull. These two props also brings attention to the futility of existence and serve as a lovely contrast to the couch borrowed from the bordello next door. In an interesting twist, no one at the magazine's art department could be bothered to get rid of the wires and the crappy house seen from the window. Reality is very chic right now. This concludes today's lecture. PS: We speak no Italian here at the Institute of Photos You Wouldn't Want to See Your Sister In, so I'm sure the headline does not in fact say: "Lindsay Lohan: She-male or fat ho?"

That’s not true. Maybe.
