Live: Q&A with Joe Pantalone

Toronto mayoralty candidate Joe Pantalone joined us for a live chat Thursday at noon, answering readers' questions.

Among other issues, Pantalone addressed the issue of the vehicle registration tax.

I will phase out the $60 Personal Vehicle Tax. Torontonians overwhelmingly do not feel it is a fair tax, and you cannot have such disconnection between City Hall and Torontonians that this tax has created. It is a regressive tax - a millionaire pays $60 just like a poor person. Not fair.
