Damien Cox, the Star's hockey columnist and associate sports editor, takes turns stirring up trouble and chuckling at the foibles of the sporting world. He'll start with hockey, Canada's ongoing passion play, and stick his nose into a few other games and places where athletes reside. You'll love some of his thoughts, hate others and get a chance to give your two cents on all of them.
Oh, to have seen him in the grips of Milan Lucic as did Clarkson, only with a dfferent outcome. This moron puts his team at risk as they are often left to clean up mess when he turtles. But to see the Rangers have to face the Bruins in a series - Avery can run, but he can't hide.

Way to leave out TFC Damien. Soccer = World's most popular sport..... right... right...

TFC... yawn. With the NHL playoffs just around the corner and MLB ready to kick off a new season... who cares about minor league soccer?

Yea so the Leafs finish dead last defensively..Big deal..You can be a hard working team that isn't any good..So because they work hard they should be what?..A great team??..Not necessarily..Nobody expected them to score much but they did..In fact, you said in your own articles that they weren't going to score much this season..
They lead the NHL in rookie games played and with all these players coming and going, it would be very difficult for a coach to get his message across..Think about it..They will finish close to .500..The team in 81/82 finished with 20 wins, 44 loses..
