Damien Cox, the Star's hockey columnist and associate sports editor, takes turns stirring up trouble and chuckling at the foibles of the sporting world. He'll start with hockey, Canada's ongoing passion play, and stick his nose into a few other games and places where athletes reside. You'll love some of his thoughts, hate others and get a chance to give your two cents on all of them.
Brian Tallet a youngster? He turns 32 this season. Should be a great series... can't wait to see that game 1 pitching match-up. When everybody comes back, it'll be nice to see Halladay, Romero, Richmond, Litsch, and Cecil in the rotation, with Tallet and Janssen in the bullpen. Robert Ray and one other bullpen guy will probably get moved down to Vegas, but who would that other guy be? League... he's got the highest ERA. Murphy.. he's the least experienced. When Marcum and Ryan get back, it'll get really crowded. At least Vegas should get a better pitching staff because they've struggled so far - maybe this will entice them to maintain their triple-AAA affiliation, unlike Syracuse.

Baseball ahead of the Coyotes story? Does anybody even watch baseball anymore? And is there a sport more in need of rule changes then baseball? Enough of the ragging on hockey all the time. Why does baseball get a free pass from guys like you, Damien?

Tsk,shame on you Damien.don`t you know that REAL "men" do that sort of thing?just ask that illiterate clown on " Coach`s Room ",who couldn`t make it in the bigs. playing OR coaching

Is there anyway you can edit the start and ending of your video? Its weird to have you hit record and go and sit down, do your thing and at the end you say "Im Damien Cox for the Star" or whatever, smile and pretend like thats the end of it but then you stand up and hit stop. It really loses its effect. There is free software that you can use to edit it.
