The Monday night official TIFF after-party for Girlfriend by freshman filmmaker Justin Lerner will donate all proceeds to motionball, a non-profit group that supports Special Olympics Canada.
The cover for the party at Brant House, 522 King St. W. is $20, all of which goes directly to motionball.
In the film, Evan Sneider plays a young man with Down Syndrome caught in a love triangle.
