Bruce Demara says Small Town Murder Songs which premiers at 7 p.m. at
AMC 6 is a must-see given writer/director Ed Gass-Donnelly’s “fresh take on
crime and redemption.” The tale, set in southwestern Ontario Old Order
Mennonite country, centres on a police chief with a violent past struggling to
bring a killer to justice while seeking reconciliation with his aged father and
his own troubled psyche.
