Look for Bermuda postings Friday and Saturday, plus Twitter @jimbyerstravel
Up at 4:30 a.m. to water my garden and take out the recycling prior to a 6 a.m. cab to Pearson. Oh, the glamour of it all!
Got an 8:30 a.m. Air Canada flight to lovely Bermuda for what will be my first time on the island. It's only three days but I hope to do a bit of touring around, check out some hotels and beaches and funky towns and hop on a moped for a bit. Oh, and snorkeling of course, at least once or twice.
I'm in St. George's tonight at the Crooked Elbow B and B, then the Fairmont Southampton (gotta keep the Canadian companies afloat, you know).
No time to post a real blog today, so count this as a coming attractions. At least I got onto the wi-fi at Pearson (thanks for the free service, guys).
My Blackberry power cord took a 3-day vacation to Vancouver, but I was able to find a Blackberry charger (after rifling through a couple boxes for the right fit) at the Relay shop at Pearson. So thanks for that, guys.
Anyhow, any suggestions on Bermuda feel free to drop me an email at jbyers@thestar.ca. I'll be filing a blog Friday and on Saturday or Sunday, too, plus another one Monday I suspect. And I'll be on Twitter if I can get the Blackberry juiced up. YOu can follow me on Twitter @jimbyerstravel if you're so inclined. Thanks and Happy Thursday.
