Modern Family: Ann Romney's show of choice
Entertainment Tonight reported yesterday that Modern Family, the ABC mockumentary sitcom featuring a gay couple who adopt a child, is Ann Romney's can't-miss TV show each week.
The show's executive producer Steve Levitan then Tweeted a reminder that two of the show's characters are, indeed, gay and Ann's husband, the Republican presidential nominee, does not support same-sex marriage.
Be wary, of course, of reading too far into Romney's pronouncement. Pop culture hardly discriminates and, well, Modern Family is just a really popular show.

Yes, and Paul Ryan loves Rage Against the Machine. How long will the attempt to garner support by proclaiming "hip" "cool" and "trendy" side of the Republican anti-gay, anti-immigrant, anti-choice, anti-everything campaign last?

Just because she does not support gay marriage doesn't mean she hates gays. I am Mormon and I disagree with changing the definition of marriage, but that does not mean I hate gays. I don't care if gays are together. I believe they have every right to live their lives the way they choose to live. I just do not want the definition of marriage to change because I believe marriage is of God and only between a man and a woman. But because I believe that does not mean I hate anyone and I believe everyone has a right to choose how they live their lives. And I love modern family. It is a very funny show and I think it shows my kids that even though we don't agree with choices other make does not mean we dislike them. That is the problem with liberals they think just because people might not agree with something means we hate which is so far from the truth its ridiculous.
