The Obama team's Twitter magic

Twitter

Last night, people were making fun of Joe Biden's heavy use of the words "folks" and "literally" in his speech.

The Democrats countered by buying the word "literally" on Twitter, so that whenever it was used, an Obama tweet would appear, tweeted Alex Skatell, whose Twitter account says he works at the National Republican Senatorial Committee.

The Obama campaign has since removed the sponsored word, said Skatell, tweeting "Obama campaign buying search term 'literally' isn't savvy, it draws attention to a heavily mocked speech and proves concern."
