Jon Stewart's The Daily Show is blessed with an embarrassment of mockable riches at the Republican National Convention. I watched today as Jessica Williams and Toronto's Samantha Bee got themselves kicked out of the Woman Up! women's pavilion.
Moments earlier, Bee said, "Put down your shooter and grab your cooter: it's Woman Up!" Williams asked the guard if she could go get her hair done - there was indeed a mini-salon inside - and suggested the guard was racist for refusing to let her pass.
They then proceeded, hand in hand, to the Hooters down the street:
Bee politely declined a request to talk to the Star, saying I had to go through official channels, but she did ask me what I cover. When I told her it was Toronto City Hall and Mayor Rob Ford, she said, "Oh my God, Rob Ford, wow."
