After a blast of winter Wednesday, motorists can expect better driving conditions for the morning commute Thursday.
Environment Canada is forecasting sunny, clear skies for the day. But temperatures will still be a little chilly — with an expected high of only -1 C, which is significantly below the seasonal normal of 7 C.
This milder weather comes less than 24 hours after Toronto saw just over 11 centimeters of snow fall and temperatures dropping as low as -5 C, according to AccuWeather Canada.
The good news is that the sun is expected to stay for the weekend and temperatures are anticipated to climb above the freezing point for Saturday and Sunday.
