One week (+one day) til the move!

And I'm still packing. And will likely still be packing right up until 9 a.m. next Saturday when Mr. Speedy arrives with our moving van.

We take possession officially next Thursday (less than a week away!!), but, we decided not to move on closing day, because there's no guarantee as to what time of day we'll get the keys — just sometime that day. And, having crammed a move into mere hours on a weeknight once before, we swore never to do so again!

Friday was an option, of course, but a move is much simpler with a handful of friends and a case of beer. And, we weren't thrilled at the idea of missing work. So, instead, we'll head over to the new house on Friday night, do some cleaning and finish preparing for the move on both ends, then get an early start on Saturday morning!

As you can see in this photo, we're still plugging away. The next week will be about finishing paperwork and adding to this tower of boxes, then, once we're moved, we'll be focusing on rewiring the house, unpacking and decorating!
