Welcome to my "home-in-progress"
I figured, after so many of you followed along and encouraged me on my home hunt, and have read along as I moved, unpacked and decorated, it was finally time to offer up a proper home tour.
Now, of course, while I adore poring over beautifully designed rooms online, in print and on TV, my home's far from ready for its close-up.
After all, we're still in our first year in the place - and getting set up and decorating on a pretty much non-existent budget does take a fair bit of time.
But, in a brave moment, I decided that my readers should get a glimpse of my home the way I really live in it - with placeholder furniture, a shortage of art on the walls and the ubiquitous tea mug on my desk. No tweaking, primping or staging.
So, before I could lose my nerve, I went through the house with a few snaps, and uploaded them to a web album.
