Security fences to go up on June 11?

Hmm! This just in from HemaRamsingh on Twitter:

"Just received first communication on dealing with G20 Summit. Our office is at the edge of the perimeter. Fences going up June 11."

This seems to be the first indication of when exactly security fences might start going up. We are following up with summit security officials right now and will keep you posted.

Meaghan Gray with the Toronto Police said in an email to the Star that the Integrated Security Unit is still making changes to the security fence locations so they're hesitant to confirm a specific start date for construction. Gray did say "it will be around that day," however.
