The second car on the Kia team at Targa once again this year will be the Forte Koup, now in its fourth event.
For the third of those four years it will be driven by Trois Rivieres auto scribe and road racer Jacques Deshaies.
We've been kidding Jacques that he is also using his third navigator in those three years - doesn't anybody ever want to do that a second time?
Not really - it's a matter of finding someone with the time to do this event.
The new 'guy' is in fact a Guy - Guy McKenzie.
Despite the surname, Guy is Francophone. If he were my navigator, we'd be Kenzie McKenzie.
Which in fact is the name of a Nova Scotia folk singer.
I digress.
But no - in our Optima Turbo, now with fabulous racing brakes and suspension, I will stick with my Halifax co-driver Brian Bourbonniere for as long as he will keep doing it. He is simply the best in the field - he even reads my mood through my breathing in the headset!
Anyway, last night at dinner Guy showed us a YouTube video which is advertised as the "World's Funniest Rally Video".
I concur.
Watch it here.
And I can assure you that this scene will NOT be replicated in either of our cars this week.
Oh - if the ad you get before the video happens to be for "Poo-Pourri", don't skip it - it's almost as funny as the rally video...
