Nov 11, 2007 - Jack Newman, 87, who was a Sergeant in the Canadian Army reflects at the Remembrance Day service at Prospect Cemetery, held by members of the Royal Canadian Legion, Earlscourt Branch 65. His medals include those given by the people of Holland for his part in liberating Arnham.
July 26, 2008 - A windsurfer enjoys a string wind as he passes in front of the setting sun Saturday evening on Lake Huron.
August 16, 2008 - The cleanup continues following the explosion at Sunrise Propane last week. Workers from RBG Environmental comb the playground of Ancaster Road Public School on their hands and knees, looking for small pieces of asbestos spread by the explosion. RBG has been contracted by the city and the Board of Ed to clean the school.

The Remembrance Day service was held on the site of Camp X, a camp used to train spys during WW2 for Britain, USA and Canada. The Red and Green flag is Military Intelligence flag.

April 20, 2010 - Left fielder Mitch Maier loses his glove chasing a long foul by Adam Lind. Lind struck out.
May 5, 2010 - Members of the Hiroshima Day Coalition shelter as the rain starts to fall after they met with Mayor David Miller at the Peace Garden. The fifty A-bomb survivors and peace activists were meeting in the council chamber before travelling to the UN. The woman in black is Setsuko Thurlow, Member of the Order of Canada, a survivor of the atomic bomb.
July 15, 2004 - Peterborough was flooded by a severe rainstorm in 2004. Residents of Philip Street have been flooded for the second time in two years. Frank Bell saves some memorabilia, all that is left in his flooded basement. Relentless rains left the city awash in water and sewage.
