June 26, 2010 Protesters burn the second police car at Queen and Spadina. The two cars were abandoned after being damaged, protesters burned one car, police moved in and cleared the area and then left the other car unattended during a protest.

November 16, 2010 Children reach feed a pair of Ringtail Monkeys in the petting zoo as Thousands of Muslims gathered at Exhibition Place in Toronto on Tuesday, November 16, 2010 to celebrate Eid Al-Adha, which commemorates the end of the annual Hajj (the pilgrimage in Mecca, Saudi Arabia). This Eid, known as the “Festival of Sacrifice”, commemorates Prophet Ibrahim’s willingness to sacrifice his son Ismael, as an act of obedience to God. The Eid Al-Adha celebrations had Eid Prayers in the Queen Elizabeth Building and followed with a festival in the Better Living Centre in Toronto.

Steve, thank you for your excellent work throughout the year and posting your favourite images for us to enjoy again. I especially liked the Falun Gong and boxing photos- truly great captures! Also, thank you for not blocking the exif data on the images so techies like me can see the equipment you used for these photos.
