Toronto Fashion Week Day 3
Bernard Weil @bernardweil
Keith Beaty @KeithBeaty
We're half way through Fashion Week and so far there hasn't been any of the lengthy delays I remember when shooting in Paris or Milan or New York. A big thanks to house photographer George Pimentel for keeping things under control in the photo pit.
Below are some of the highlights Keith and I captured both on and off the runway today.
BERNARD WEIL - Sitting still under brights backstage, Toronto model Jill Eisenhauer gets makeup applied.
BERNARD WEIL - A model heads backstage on one of two runways under the tent.
BERNARD WEIL - The Star's Keith Beaty (second row, fourth from the right) gets centre position for the Lucian Matis show, giving readers the best seat in the house.
BERNARD WEIL - Models wait for final call before their show while last minute nail polish is applied.
BERNARD WEIL -A model gets the finishing touches before the Lucian Matis show. Fifteen stylists at the show will go through twenty five cans of hairspray each.
BERNARD WEIL - Models strut their stuff at the Lucian Matis show.
KEITH BEATY - Always a Fashion Week favourite, rug design studio Korhani showed off their "collection" of frocks made from carpet samples.
BERNARD WEIL - A model heads down the catwalk at the Lucian Matis show under the watchful eye of buyers and media.
KEITH BEATY - Keith gets sme eye contact during the Lucian Matis show.
BERNARD WEIL - Models strut in sync at the end of the Lucian Matis show.
