My emailed dinged at 7:58 AM with the dreaded assignment of the day, Ford watch!
The assignment breaks down into three parts, waiting for Mayor Rob Ford to get to work, this becomes the dreaded elevator watch, surprising councillors, staff and visitors to the second floor. This is followed by tracking his movements through the offices and then prepping for his departure.

9:15:15 AM - Councillor Ana Bailão arrives.
9:20:40 AM - New staff in the fishbowl.
9:24:07 AM - Councillor Janet Davis arrives.
9:27:04 AM - Councillor Cesar Palacio arrives.
9:31:41 AM - Councillor Peter Milczyn arrives.
9:33:16 AM - Councillor James Pasternak takes questions.
9:51:05 AM - Ducking in front of the cameras.
9:52:46 AM - David Price enters the Mayors offices.
9:53:02 AM - New hire has a laugh.
10:51:59 AM - Not Mayor Rob Ford.
10:57:12 AM - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford arrives.
10:57:14 AM - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford takes one question, answer "fine."
12:03:17 PM - Councillor John Parker is scrummed as he passes by the Mayor's office.
12:11:09 PM - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford talks to four new staff mambers after losing six over the past week.
12:19:33 PM - Mayor Rob Ford leads the newbies from the fish bowl to his office.

4:48:22 PM - Toronto Mayor Rob Ford's parking spot is empty, while waiting for him to exit through the front door of his office he snuck down the back stairs.
